Great room review! I appreciate that you typically stay in and review the entry level rooms. Other reviewers too often review high end suites that most people don’t stay at.
My new Bride & I were just there the end of February & had the 1-bd Terrace with the little square soaking tub. We found that we could have lived without it, but wanted to try it. It was beautiful sitting in it and watching the Bellagio fountain, but we only did it one night for just a couple hours. (It takes FOREVER to fill... that's a LOT of water & there's no divider between the bedroom & the tub, so if you "splash" a bit, it spills over into the bedroom carpet way too easily.) One big thing about this hotel is the decision between which building to stay in (Boulevard or Chelsea).... the gentleman (and military veteran) that we checked in with suggested the Chelsea for a better view of the fountain. We were quite pleased as our room angled towards the fountain & Paris Tower. Yes, we had a little further to walk to get to a couple things, but it wasn't nearly as far as some hotel reviews made it seem & we were almost all the way at the end of the hall on our floor (furthest from everything). Definitely can't wait to go back (probably for 1yr anniversary), but we will be checking out the cheaper room(s) next time. And yes, the $20 tip did help us get to a much higher floor (56th or 57th) with a much better view of the fountain, Strip & mountains over the top of the Bellagio.
Excellent Tour, James. We just stayed here. Room layout was excellent. View was spectacular. Having a coffee on that balcony in the morning is wonderful. Cheers!
I just stayed at Cosmo for the first time ever . Stayed in fountain view one bedroom suite. I must say the room and view was spectacular my friends were completely blown away. I just planned another trip in March staying in the wraparound suite next. So excited
Yes - I agree - vital. Modern 5 star standard rooms should have a fridge. Kudos to Cosmo, RW, Vdara, Circa…. C’mon Wynn/Encore, Aria, Bellagio, Venetian/Palazzo…
I like Cosmopolitan hotel more than others. Getting from the park to the lobby and rooms is very good, especially for those with children or family members with walking disabilities. In other hotels, you may even walk for a long time and sometimes get lost in the parking lot. In addition, all the furnishings in the hotel are new and have towels that do not make you feel like they have been used for a long time. I think there is a hotel service where you get your money's worth. Thanks for the room video.
I stayed in the Terrace One Bedroom at the Chelsea Tower, facing the Aria resort. I really liked it. I haven't stayed in the studio room yet but the price difference between the rooms isn't that bad. I think it's roughly $20 to $30 on a weekday. It just depends on which layout you like better and if you want the Japanese soaking tub.
Do you feel like the "Japanese soaking tub" is just a gimmick or it actually makes a difference compared to the standard tub? Also do you have a preference in views when it comes to the Chelsea Tower or the Boulevard Tower? Thanks for all your great analysis and tips Coolist!
James -- Great insights on guest experience. As you point out you don't always have to spend the most for a rewarding stay. BTW where do you get the fantastic blazers you wear when dining out? They are so sharp! Take care brother.
How quiet is it inside the room? Do you hear any noises next door or talking? is it thin walls? What if someone taking shower next door? do you hear it or any aircodition noise? etc?
It's really true eh James, the Vegas strip view at night is really a different Vegas, and that view from there looks killer. This is good we will go there soon for sure!
Yooo Wayne!! Day vs night on that balcony are so different, but both are spectacular. I really enjoyed this stay, I think it was one of my better cosmo stays to date.
Great video! I’ve been binging your videos all this past week. Can you tell us what room # this is? I really want that view during our stay next month.
I really enjoy your thorough reviews/room tours but let’s be honest. A terrace studio is definitely not the standard room @ The Cosmo. A standard room is a city room in the Chelsea tower with no balcony and no bathtub.
You can definitely stay at these rooms, they aren't expensive at all on the slower days which are Sunday to Thursday. Of course though, everyone's budget is different and the resort fees suck.

Man I really love all your videos man! You are actually the best in my opinion. Thanks James
I'm glad I ran into your videos, lots of information, will be staying at cosmopolitan next week, can't wait to be there!!

U and pompsie both posted cosmo videos same day. It's a good day. Both wicked vids.
We just stayed in this exact room last week and it was mind blowing beyond belief. Def going back asap!
You can also request a microwave at the cosmo 🔥 they will bring one right up to you.
Excellent Tour, James. We just stayed here. Room layout was excellent. View was spectacular. Having a coffee on that balcony in the morning is wonderful. Cheers!
Awesome Nuke! I always spend a few minutes on the balcony each morning also - it's a great way to start a day in Las Vegas.

James: love your Signature room key bounce before going into the rooms! Shows the excitement 🤗

Outstanding honest review as usual. BIG 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I love the smaller suite as well. The big one has weird room in between, it looks like a locker room. Love the Videos.

Good informative stuff!
I've stayed in both with the same view and can't wait to again one day when things settle down. Another great vid!
I’m here right now. Same studio u got I like it a lot.
I'll be there in 2 weeks. I prefer the studio terrace to the 1 bedroom terrace.
Make sure you get a "premium view.." I did 4 stays in 14 months. Loved it. You will too 👍🙏
Great room tour. I cant wait until MGM takes possession of the Cosmo. So I can get MLife points for staying/playing there.
Are they converting the Identity membership to Mlife rewards?
😐👎

I mean it's all perspective, but I love soaking in that thing after walking for hours each day. And the view is nice🥰
I love it. Also nice view
I was just there in February... go read my comment to answer both of your questions!

Dude. You MUST do the wraparound! Everything upgraded, including the bed!
One bedroom has a fridge too 💖
But i think you were too disappointed in the bed to remember that small detail lol
I stayed 4 times and thought the bed was ok..
@@VegasRUclipsrSteve i think the bed is fine too but i do like more harder mattresses so im a little bias
@@oshunorisha367 I actually slept real good one night on the couch... I think the 420 edibles helped out.. 😂
I prefer the wrap around suites, or the bungalows.
I loved my wraparound Terrace Suite and I got it for a steal so
.....
Are the all the rooms standard or not have balcony?
You have to book a terrace room to have a balcony the cheapest rooms dont have them
@@oshunorisha367 thank you!!
The "city rooms" do not have a balcony. Look for a studio/terrace room.
No coffee maker or Keurig in the rooms?
Mgm moving in on ceasers!!!
We ALWAYS got this room.
I heard they’re owned by MGM now?
The deal is expected to close in the first half of 2022
It sure is nice but how expensive is it?
Waiting for the Room Tour full of scantily clad women! Great work. love your stuff, very informative!
How much was it?

Are you going to get drinks at the barbershop and eat at beauty and essex
Just got back from Vegas.. Id love to stay at cosmo..but I never win there..
That one dislike must be the resort fee....
Might even get uglier with MGM taking over soon.
Great video! I’ve been binging your videos all this past week. Can you tell us what room # this is? I really want that view during our stay next month.
Book a Terrace Studio Fountain View in the Chelsea Tower... You will be happy 👍✌
James' favorite word. Impregnated. 🤣
I stayed last January and they gave me a view of the tram...it was terrible and depressing.
I really enjoy your thorough reviews/room tours but let’s be honest. A terrace studio is definitely not the standard room @ The Cosmo. A standard room is a city room in the Chelsea tower with no balcony and no bathtub.
Man i loooove cosmo 💖
Its gonna be more like mgm in the future i hear
Why is that?
The MGM will not kill the vibe at the Cosmo.. They know better
@@LCordova7 mgm will take over cosmopolitan operations in 2022 💖
Your videos are great.
But most of us.
Will never stay at those rooms.
So we need more videos on the economy side rooms
Just saying.
Yes...I totally agree.
Try looking for a Sunday thru Thursday stay. Much cheaper
You can definitely stay at these rooms, they aren't expensive at all on the slower days which are Sunday to Thursday. Of course though, everyone's budget is different and the resort fees suck.
Cosmo is going to be part of MGM, like it or naw?
