Unfortunately every one of these Virgin Chris Evans videos has horrific sound engineering. They need to go hire the team who do Howard Stern's audio for the bands he gets. Every one of those is perfect.
@@danfairbairn2998 Well, wouldn't that mostly have an influence on drums and vocals? Those sound good enough for me, it's the guitars that sound so weak. I don't know if not mic'ing the amps may be the problem, shouldn't really be nowadays.
@@DerEchteBold I really don’t see this as a terrible mix. The guitars were always meant to be angular and slight. It’s the bass and drums which drive this song. Listen to the actual version, the guitars are arguably lower in the mix.
The song is played back closer to its original tempo. They've been playing the old songs a lot slower these past years. Listening to this one and dark of the matinee it seems they are playing faster again.
I agree, to me it wasn't just about the songs, that original four piece had that certain magic about them, it happens by pure luck and can't be replicated by new musicians Many people, possibly even yourself, hate Oasis but the exact same thing happened with their original line up, and went down hill even if they were replaced with better musicians
Sounds decent. After all it's a no brainer fun song to play, but the groove, power and attitude of the original drummer and specially of guitarist Nick Mccarthy is missing. And it shows....
Looks like the only original members are the bass player and lead singer. I miss the old guitarist, they way he rocked out on his SG was fun to watch.
