Love the sound of that telecaster
This performance felt so real. That's what I value in music nowadays. The lyrics delivered with such raw, authentic emotion. Funny sometimes, sad other times. I listened to the Spotify versions but these live performances were better for me. I could really feel the emotion of it all. Maybe because it all touched a nerve, or maybe something in the sonic vibrations that came alive
That was cool as fuck. I love how she plays the tele, the most musical of all fenders.
Buen sonido....un placer escucharles.....abrazos cálidos desde Fuerteventura
Hell of a band! Love them
Sounds great, nice songs, solid band.
Love RVG & KEXP, perfect fit. Romy Vaga never ceases to astound and delight. Come back to London soon and headline your own tour. xo
RVG keeping it real. Outstanding performance

Llegué a este video re fumado y fue la gloria alta bandita 👏🙌🏻
Kick ass!!
It like the mid-80s Go-Betweens all over again...and that's not a bad thing.
Damn, great guitar playing and band in general. Reminds me of a lot of stuff I love... The Pretenders, Cowboy Junkies, etc...
Terrifically original then.
Incredible clear music, genius, so sad I didnt get to see them in UK this year.. wasn't very well... But next time, I'll be there... Love your music 😍
Nice to see people can still write rock songs with some bite that actually feel genuine and not totally contrived from some other place. Need more of this in these stupid times. Ya'll just sold another record.
I agree. Felt genuine.
Nice! Different kind of sound! Pretty dope!
Gutsy, groovy band Loved you guys at blackbear Lodge Brisvegas Nov 2019 Much love Rommy x
Best album of the year hands down
Cool performance
Darn Melbourne owning the world 😊
Saw them opening for tropical fuck storm about two years ago. Intense performance! Got their setlist after the gig
Tropical Fuck Storm, what a name lmao. Checking them out because of it
Got Patty Smith vibes, got Lou Reed vibes, and then when my evolved brain started apreciating this more it became completely original and blew my head off, thank you for this so powerful performance, you guys left your soul that day when this was shot, sigh... so very much inspired by you all
And alsoThe Ramones look XD
Neil Young!
And you forgot Chrissie Hynde vibes
the war on drugs
Is this Patty a dude?
There was a review of their new album in yesterday's Sydney Morning Herald. Never heard of them before. Sounds very early 80s (post-punk not synthwave). I like it a lot. Very good lyrics too.
Rock they do!
Indie calypso I'd say.
Someone was cleaning the old cassette tapes on the parents atic ... The result is superb!
Great Sounding Guitars!!
Please come to the UK VERY SOON!
Yes, yes, yes
Saw them last night at Stylus, Leeds, supporting Billy Nomates- excellent!
Awesome band piss elegant
Magnífico!!
👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼!
WoW!! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Good luck on the 27th with the show, finally
very intensive
que lindo esto
Intense. Moving. Fantastic guitar playing.
🙂♥️👍👍👍
cf WATERBOYS ?
Anya Crossroad
Daron Wells
a BIT (well, more than a bit) go-betweens but harder of course.
recited singing style 🖤🐇
Too professional for timestamps.
🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦✌
i got pixies vibe
Think the band’s name is interesting haha
im having a hard time telling if this is contrived or not
I like this vocal delivery, but it doesn't lend for much variation from song to song. I listened to the whole set because it sounded good, but it sounded like one song.
Yes. I agree. still enjoyed it though. Good lyrics.
You mean one of the most mediocre and ugly bands around.
This band gives me heroin vibes...
Neat sound, but so gloomy. I write my own shitty songs and I know when you are down you feel inspired to spit it out into a song, but also try to capture those times when you are excited and happy and full of wonder and confidence, I would suggest.
You clearly don’t understand much about music, then. Lmao. Or you’re 14 years old. Nice try
The quality of this performance is on the level of where I was at age 14 . People have really given up on trying to do anything with integrity and skill. Oh, but I'm sure they think of themselves as producers.
To the person Simon Weston, here's what I think about the guy:
The lower a person's IQ, the higher the negative projections. Project mutch Simon Weston?
Gospel
You could also find a different video to watch. The band’s doing what they like to do, it appears they’re getting a bit of success doing it, and KEXP felt they were strong enough to showcase a performance. There will be virtuous modern performers out there. Just gotta look for them.
This is the absolute worst attitude that any musician can have. Music is not a competition it is an artful expression. Get over yourself and your ego and you will experience life and music and art in a much more free and exciting way. There are plenty of super talented players and songwriters out there, it makes you about 0% special in any way that you can play more difficult riffs or mess around in time sigs, so can literally millions of others. Lordy this is my least favorite attitude in the music scene.
It seems Tim didn't enjoy this performance, pity because I did. Before firing from the hip do check his channel, he don't seem to be a bad bloke.
I still disagree with his view on this band but we can't all like the same stuff can we.
@@clivemortimore8203 It's even worse than this, there are recording studios that have over $250,000 in their space and equipment and the engineers? They have the worst bands in the world on their itinerary list. The assistant Engineers have better recorded examples.
Less than mediocre. What’s the deal with kexp and all these bland bands lately???
completely agree
some good shit is gonna come soon hide your family we are coming
You can tell a lot about a person by looking at their RUclips channel (yes I like toy trains) some are quite empty like their comments. Others like Hamza's are rich with information and shows a wide choice of music, from Snatch to Chelmsford County High School. Sadly Hamza didn't like this performance. We all have music we like and don't like.
I found the choice of the High School (a girls school for those who pass their 11 plus) quite interesting as I spent a large part of my life living in Chelmsford and passed the High School most days driving along Broomfield Road.

Decent. The drummer is crushing it. Singer gets stale after 15 minutes.
