Yea.. it was seriously windy the day I filmed.... not only was it difficult to keep up with the cars, it was also too much of a risk to try and get too close... I didn't fancy getting a hefty bill for hitting a supercar lol.
@@FPV-TV419 I totally agree. But working in the profession, I always decide how and when. Among other things, the air regulations, in my country as in yours, provide for it: it's always the pilot who decides. And if it's not possible, don't do it. Among other things, it is always better to write it in the contract mentioning the adverse weather conditions. And it's okay that the Avata cost is minimal, compared to an Inspire 2 or 3. But this doesn't mean losing or destroying equipment just because the customer wants recovery at all costs. If you accept the advice transform Avata into 3.5 inches, you will see that it will hold up very well to gusts of wind! And it fits on a whole GoPro without any effort. Without GoPro and using it as if it were an unmodified Avata, the flight time is practically very similar. Still nice area to shoot!
@andreachiuppi my avata is axis 3.5 converted 😉. And it still did struggle with the wind. I wasn't being paid for this, I did it for a friend. It was just for fun. I would have loved to be closer to the cars... but as I had travelled an hour to get to the location, I thought it would be better to get something rather than nothing
@@FPV-TV419 Under certain circumstances a 5 inch, or could be a 7. Back then it was really windy if not even yours could match it. But it is also true that the Lilo are not lipo, and that the propeller protectors in the wind are not properly indicated. But that's okay, a video you managed to take home. I hope you got paid anyway in the end. Because while it often becomes free, eventually people will always want free. Meditate... 😉
