1:50 - this meal youve just come up with is the most northern thing ive ever heard - my grandad loves ketchup and gravy together im sure adding curry would just top it off 😂
As a trans person, I do think this show has kind of altered the perceptions of trans people a little, but even so, I still find it funny, even if the way it's presented feels outdated by today's standards. Another excellent video Cam, proud to be a donut!
Do you mean you still find the show in general funny or that you find the "I'm a lady" character funny? I'm really curious on a trans persons perspective on the character
@@markalexander3659 I still find the show in general funny, but I think it's one of those things where you shouldn't take anything seen in the show too seriously, and to be honest, I think the segments with the "I'm a lady" characters is more on the side of comedic drag as opposed to that representing trans people but I think depending on people's perspectives, that line can sometimes appear blurred. However, as a trans person, I just see the show in general for what it is, and the comedy definitely reflects on the time in which the show was aired but it doesn't affect my life or how I live.
Also as a trans person, I think it's important to note that this show, while slightly poorly executed, is making fun of the stereotypes, not the people.
Also as a trans person, i think the damage is done by people who use shows like these to reinforce their own negative perception of the people these shows portray.
This showww 😂watching it later in life and wondering why the near complete/complete boxset was given to me at like 10 for Christmas by my mum or sister 😂😂 I loved watching this show with my mum :') it's so really well represents the humour of that decade, I am glad I grew up with it lmao
Gavin and stacey as well as Benidorm and Little britain was my childhood like now it would be totally offensive but back then not to sound weird but it was hilarious
I'm a gay man and Daffyd always makes me pee myself. As with lots of British comedy, Little Britain took the piss out of STEREOTYPES. Like him only wearing PVC outfits and every other gay man he met wore PVC/leather outfits or was over the top camp. I still love "un-PC" jokes to this day because to me, the joke is that some people actually think those things!
We just can't get away with that stuff anymore. I remember the comic relief special of Andy and will and him saying someone was emotionally vapid. Rip GM.
I imagine your description would go something like: 'Ruffled brown hair, pallid complexion and a slight smell of BO and baked beans. You know the one with the teeth.'
14:57 if you're interested I have been technically dead a few times and been resuscitated. Assuming you're still conscious just before cardiac arrest happens as has happened twice for me it's very peaceful. The quote from Harry Potter sums it up really beautifully when Harry asks his loved ones if dying hurts and Sirius says "quicker than falling asleep" one minute I was awake listening to my brother chatting about university the next my chest felt a bit tight and the next thing I knew I was in ICU. In that scenario it's incredibly peaceful and calming. When my grandmother died we had been stuck in traffic trying to get to the hospital. Not even five minutes after we got there and I kissed her on the head telling her I loved her she took one final deep breath and passed away. In some cases I'm sure it's horrible, painful and unpleasant but the death that I have experienced has been short and peaceful.
I think we kinda like comedy that makes fun of us? IDK I was overweight as a kid and Fat Fighters was my favourite bit on the show. I'm also gay and never found any of those characters offensive either. I think that's one of the great things about Britain, we're good at laughing at ourselves rather than getting offended.
another cam reaction just in time for tea nice one 👍 no way shows like little britain the catherine tate show or balls of steel would ever get commissioned in the woke era lol
Should we react to ‘Come Fly with me’ it’s by the same people who do this show?
Absolutely

I still find Little Britain hilarious even though it could never be made today
seems people have lost their sense of humour
The woke far lefties have ruined comedy. I loved this when it was first released.
