RE6 gets a lot of hate but it’s a solid game! Not really as horror as the rest of the series but still a fun ride

Horror? When was resident evil in the horror section? Only 7 and 8, but they are boring to play. The other parts had never a horror part. If you want to use the word horror no.6 has more horror, than the older ones.
@@madara3278 Over 30 years ago, it was considered horror and still can be, depending how you think about it. In Australia, the video game shops had a black curtain across a section where only people old enough could view those games. We are used to them now and cartoonish zombies don't seem so scary but they did gush blood. Just because it doesn't scare you anymore, doesn't mean it isn't horror. If it were real it would be horrifying. It's still blood and guts, although there are worse games. 1 to 3 were funny and fun. 4 to 6 were challenging and fun and the characters and scenery were more real (graphics). I don't like 7 and 8 has only started to fill the old criteria I loved, like finding things and having heroes. Not fond of the player's character getting parts chopped or bitten off. Glad they killed off that character. Can't see him when you play, so didn't have empathy with him. Hate that first person mode. Love Leon, Chris, Jill & the newer characters, Clare, Sheva, Sherry, Jake, Helena. Wesker was a great villain. Capcom really lost me when they made 8. It was a complete departure from everything I loved about Resident Evil, from the Zombies (infected), Weapon upgrades, trying to find room in your attache case until you got an upgrade for it. So many opportunites to dispose of enemies cleverly and tons of opportunites to use the Rifle. Love the explosive weapons, too.

I loved the way the zombies turned into fantastic mini-boss monsters and they were all different, so you had to figure out different strategies for killing them. More of them too, so you had to be fast before they got you. I also loved the chess piece points you got, especially for the mini-bosses.
I always forget how long this game is. It's like 2-3 full length games rolled into one.

It’s a good game, but my only complaint is that, isn’t Ada supposed to be half Chinese, so technically shouldn’t she feel bad, as it’s technically her people that are dying here, it would have been great to see it, similar to Sheva in RE5

It's funny, when the game came out on PS3 I bought it and I really enjoyed it, I spent a lot of hours on it and even got the platinum trophy.
I swear, really, it was a big surprise for me to learn years later how hated this game is in the Resident Evil fandom.

the only resident evil games have partners are resident evil 5 and 6 that why i love those 2 cause it has a partner to help you
This game was intriguing in the beginning and then gradually became the drunk love child of Army of Darkness and a combination of drugs.
In the first couple minute in the campus.. You are not exploring enough.. A bit disappointed... But okay. Maybe to save times
They said RE6 was bad but damn I like this more than village in term of setting，character and atmosphere，village is good if its name is not resident evil

Good game only knock is it shouldn't have been Resident Evil game. It didn't resemble the RE franchise. Seems like they tried to go in a more action packed direction and it didn't work for me.

@@hillsongbest3818 Village is like if you took 7 and made it more like 4. Village has the same style of inventory, merchant where you buy and upgrade guns, and many other similarities to 4. Village has a little bit of everything, and is a great game, I beat it 4 times. Also re7 is more like the original 1 2 and 3 than it is like 4 5 and 6. Most people would call 7 a "return to form."

This is the Best Resident Evil idk why so much people don't like it. It had all the best characters in one game its the only Resident Evil that is reactive so u can get out of Zombies Holds and much more. I just hope they make a good Resident Evil like this again or remastered it
