This song reminds me of an emotional conversation between two lovers. This song would only be ruined if words were added to it. He wrings so much emotion out of the guitar and the rhythm section lies down a great spacious melody that does what it should do, compliment the song.
It's crazy because that's exactly where my imagination goes when I listen to this song. I can almost hear the conversation turn in to an argument at one point but it's still emotional nonetheless
last night I got so high of a hash bowl just laying down in bed and was listening to the version of this song from pitch fork the guitar just screams differently on that one had to learn to play it this morning
This is the type of song I'd imagine myself chilling in my base in my scout car in Indonesia 1965, slowly marching in Vietnam 1972 or helicopter riding in Cyprus 1974.
