Everyone is falling in love with Saucony endorphin pro 3 and sorta put adizero pro 3 on the back burner. I tried both and absolutely love Adidas more. So much more bouncier and just make you run faster than you want to. If you are a forefoot striker, Adidas is much more bouncier with more cushion at the forefoot than Saucony. And if you are a heel striker, the heel of Adidas feels almost like alphafly-ish, except a touch more bouncier, which is so comfortable. After a 14 mile long run, I can say that Adidas pro 3 ranks second to the Alphafly in term of bounce and leg saving comfort. For me anyways. Thanks for the review!

Hi Fordy, I bought my Adidas pro 3 around Christmas after seeing one of your videos, I found a crazy $100 discount here in the US. I'm coming back from a quad muscle tear a suffered after running the NYC marathon so between this shoe and the New Balance More V4 (I know big difference) Im getting back to running normally again. I honestly love these shoes they make me feel faster that I should and I actually have to make a point of slowing my runs so that I can stay healthy for my next race in February. Love your videos man, you tell it like it is and I really appreciate that.

Hello Fordy, this is the first time I write an opinion of one of your videos. I have not used an Adidas shoe for over 10 years and decided to give a try to the Pro 3 and I'm completely amazed. I have done a 20K finishing at marathon pace and a track session of lactate threshold and they absolutely delivered. Have not used the alphafly (I'm not a nike guy) so I can't compare but the performance of the pro 3 is marvelous. They flow at tempo and marathon pace. Next Sunday I will run a half marathon in them and I hope to run a marathon soon. Regards from Mexico. P.S. I don't see the complication in the lacing system.... 😕

Hi Fordy, love your reviews, I have the shoe & they are SO much better than the Adios Pro 2’s which were so unstable. I only did 150 miles in the Adios Pro 2’s and the rubber had total gone at the back. Also if you weren’t on totally level tarmac, any slightly raised paving slab & drain cover could twist your ankle as they rolled outward, so they went back. BUT the Adios Pro 3 are rock solid stable. I ran Osterley park run 2 weeks ago in the blazing sun & knocked 1 minute 17 seconds off my best wearing them so I think they are fast. I love them

Just got these and ran a 32K long run past weekend. For my foot with slight bunion problem, the top eyelet would stab into my big toe joint after about 10K. More people need to be warned about this!! I have seen many commenters suggesting KT tape over the joint or skipping the lacing on the top set of eyelets all together. Another issue is their laces. Listened to a lot of redditors and swapped out my Brooks shoe laces onto the adios pro 3, much better lockdown.

Brilliant and honestly refreshing review , I got these and endorphin pro 3 which I like as well… but I never had the same wow factor than what I have with the adizero adios pro 3, it’s soo versatile they just makes me want to run faster and I’ve had easy runs , love love these along with the sen8 and prime X, adidas are 🔥🔥, mate you gotta buy them now 💯👍

I just got offered a pair of the Pro 3’s for 1000 DKK (danish). I already have the Boston 12. Would you get the Pro 3 for that price? I am planning to run a marathon in the Spring.

Ah Di das , same as you . I found the adistars hopelessly useless but the pro3's are possibly the best shoe in my rotation of countless shoes , it does everything. It's a bit pricey but picked another set up lately for £150 . Fast and comfortable 👍

Alphafly V1 is unstable trampoline.. Especially in the front.. I can feel it in my knees 🙄.. I am still learning how to run in the Alphafly V1.. The Vaporfly is so much more easy to live with.. I hear you say you know that the Alphafly will push you through the end of the race when you are gutted.. I don't know if I get this feeling with the Alphafly V1. Definitely the Vaporfly keeps the legs going and going on automatic when I am exhausted. Endorphin Pro 3 somewhere between the Vaporfly and Alphafly..

    • @isidrotormogarcia4879
      @isidrotormogarcia4879 2 года назад

Interesting. I feel exactly the same. Vaporfly is easy in conduction and dissapear below the foot when you pick up the pace. Alpha is more specific shoe and more mechanic. But the AAAP3 seems so soft, so bouncy and enough stif to run very fast in long distances.

I was EXACTLY the same as you Chris! I went straight out the door and my easy pace felt even easier and my heart rate was slightly lower! Don't know what it is but for me they just feel perfect for my paces and form. Not too soft and not too hard, I never had any unstable issues!
Keep up the great work Chris and get yourself a pair of 3's!!

Pretty spot on with what I found, for me the two negatives are the tab (fashion thing) and if you have a tall instep the eyelets at the front can be a pain (moleskin ftw). Still, Adidas has made a cracking shoe, and like the sky+ the offset at 6mm can suit someone like me who prefers zero to low drop, and also suit people who train in a higher drop shoe (speed's, nova blast, etc) .. as Hoka so far don't know how or don't want to make a dedicated marathon 'race' shoe. I would suggest the Hoka Mach 5 & the Adios Pro 3 would be an excellent pairing.

I have it and I have bitter sweet feelings. Step in feel is okay, they’re light and they really help you keep moving forward. But for some reason I just can’t seem to get a proper lockdown on my right foot specifically and it’s kind of annoying when I feel my heel slipping. I’ve tried heel locking and even that doesn’t help unless I cut the circulation off to my foot (which isn’t an enjoyable experience lol).

I just ordered a pair of the adios pro 2 so I look forward to here how your race goes with them.
I ran my 1st half marathon in 18 years on some used endorphin pro 1's and I couldn't believe how fast I was able to run in those things. I'm 58 years old which means that everything is pretty much falling apart and yet with a 12 week training program I was able to beat my time from 18 years ago! Not sure if it says more about me or the shoe but I felt like I was flying.
I will say the endorphins feel strange walking around. They are def a specific shoe. Im entering specialty footwear territory! They don't feel that great walking around.

get and race them! I had similar sensations with the Pro 2, raced them in Amsterdam and did really well. I did get a blister when one shoe shifted a bit but that was a me/lacing problem. Maybe this might be turning point for me with Adidas. Btw I have the same problem with pronation with my left foot. So maybe if this shoe works for you Fordy I might actually purchase it too. Will be waiting for your next review of this shoe. Many thanks.

Never had any Adidas bricks before.
But when this landed in a store near me, I thought I never hurt to try it. Well, its upper around the ankle & heel, & the eyelet near the big toe kinda give me a tiny bit of irritation, but I LOVED its midsole.
I did not buy the shoe though.
But when I got the opportunity to get the white colorway with 20% off, I had to go back to the store the 2nd time to try & feel its upper 1 more time.

For me, it's a midway shoe between the Nike AFN%2 and the Saucony Pro3 for me ..... more comfortable than the Nike, but slightly less than the Saucony..... the bounce is more trampoline like and has a great toe off............ I think with any of these shoes it comes down to how they feel at GMP and which holds it better for the runner.....
