Allah make it easy for all people who revert. This subject is nearly an unexplainable experience for many of us. I found out who my friends were when I found Islam. Some of my family and friends were hurt by my change. My first response was to say, “this was not done to you or done to effect you.” I didn’t understand how my following the teachings of the prophet Mohammed (saws) could cause them grief or pain. Then I took into consideration how miseducation was what effected them. Others were accepting and wanted to understand. Alhamdullilah. The ones who were never my friends showed me who they really were. It was a liberating experience. Alhamdullilah for Islam. And alhamdullilah for real friends, family and our Muslim family. Everything is a learning curve. Alhamdullilah for Allah’s guidance and blessings.

In June 2023 I became Muslim. There are friends and family that don't accept it. I have had many say, "You can't be a Muslim, You are white." I've noticed that the Qur'an is one of the (if not the only) scriptures that don't have to be pushed on other people. Some individuals who seek out the truth just stumble upon it and they accept it as the truth after much study, without other persons pushing or influencing them to do so. Just an observation.
