Make it with a rifled barrel in 45LC, 44 Mag, 327 Mag, and 357 Mag. Those would be good home defense guns.
I think those pistol calibers would help reduce the length of pull also .
Id take a non-bullpup pump dual mag pistol caliber as well

Then it wouldn't be a shotgun. The idea would be to have these available to anyone who could legally get a shotgun in a city or area, that you couldn't get a conventional firearm. Probably?
idk if it could even chamber or have them in the magazine those since those are rimmed cases

People talk crap about Kel-Tec but they have awesome costumer service.
I emailed them asking to buy a replacement part for my RDB, they asked my address and I waited for them to give me a price for shipping. 3 days later the part came in the mail complete with a tiny tube of loctite.

I own a radical firearms 7.62x39 ar and I was wondering if you know if I can buy a conversion kit to go to 5.56?
I'm not to knowledgeable about the ar style rife so I thought I would ask you.

You should be able to just buy and install a complete AR upper chambered in 5.56 and use standard 5.56 magazines with no changes to the lower. just pull the takedown pins, remove the 7.62 upper, install the 5.56 upper, push the pins back into place, and insert the appropriately loaded magazine.

I've always wanted a KSG....BUT I just can't get over the fact that when one tube runs dry there is no auto change over to the tube with ammo, I mean can it really be that hard to design?
It's more practical and less can go wrong with a manual switch (which allows going between different tubes e.g. slug vs buckshot)
It's actually not the first there's a Turkish company that did it before.

Next gun Kel-Tec should make is a KSG 25 that is made to run on mini shells. Finally, a shotgun with a higher capacity than an AR15!

Very cool. Could probably make a great home defense gun. Just too bad it's going to be way more expensive than it should be, and almost impossible to find, so stores will jack up the price even more.

Good luck finding ammo for it. Washington, Idaho, Oregon can't find .410 at all for the last two years.
Yea no luck in stores in Indiana either. You can still order it online. Bird and skeet loads are finally under a dollar.

Oh boy a cartridge that you can't even count on for self defense, in a shotgun designed for self defense. BRB grabbing my compact 18" bullpup shotgun to go nail some birds.
Can’t even count on for self-defense do you even know what your talking about the .410 shotgun is more than capable with the right load and distance and with this shotgun gives you 12+1 capacity with 2 1/2 shells and 10+1 with 3 inch shells
@@kingd3001 410 is what you give your kid or wife to practice with. Recoil and follow up shots is irrelevant with a gun that you have to manually rack each time, so having it recoil lighter than 12ga is a moot point for self defense. Might have less penetration/collateral, but at that point I wouldn't even use a shotgun to begin with.
For reference, a 3" .410 slug has about 650 ft/lbs of energy, while a 125gr +p 9mm round has roughly 517. Thats only a hundred and change difference. A 55gr 556 has 1011 ft/lbs. 556 and 9mm also have way less recoil than 12ga making it perfect for weaker individuals as well so this begs the question of what the point of .410 even is besides a round to challenge yourself with when skeet shooting.
@@kingd3001 Thank you, you are using this gun inside your home for self-defense and you don't want to harm your family members in other rooms by it going through walls and windows and such, not trying to sniper fire some guy running down your street 50 yards away.
@@sheepocalypse3898 I know personally, what a 410 shotgun can do especially with 000 buckshot and as far as a pump, action shotgun with anything that you choose as a self-defense weapon, you need to practice with it, regardless of what it is

I'll tell you what, why don't you come to my house and we will test out my theory, and if it doesn't work then I'll come to your house and you can throw all your theory numbers out at me.

Hasan came out with a semiautomatic bull pup.410 a few years ago. Much better product and the quality is way better!

No ammo and they don’t plan on making 410 ammo for a long time. There isn’t any use for it
They are still making it and the prices are slowly coming down on bird/skeet loads, 000 loads are still through the roof. There is federal available at Midway right now limit 3 boxes.

Outdated? Kel-tec, Winchester and many other companies seem to disagree with you given that there are more arms and ammo types available in .410 than 24, 28, and 32 gauges combined.
