When you are passionate about filmmaking, you can't help but make a bloody good film.

One of the best interviews of Anurag Kashyap ever in my humble opinion.

Anurag Kashyap is a gem of a filmmaker. He stands in the league of filmmakers like Satyajit Ray. Sadly, he hasn't received appreciation or felicitation from Indian governments. And as long as the current dispensation exists, he won't get any. But he deserves nothing less than Padma Vibhushan.

Current dispensation? all of his films which were banned was before 2010.

@@MP.2576 Black Friday was not banned by the government. Its release was stayed by the Bombay High court after a petition challenging the release by a group accused of the blasts. And Paanch was banned in the Vajpayee era (although I'm not sure what led to its ban as it was cleared by the Censor board after some cuts).

I am worried about his breathing . He should try to get the look of Anurag from Satya premiere times so that we can see more of him for a long time to come

Absolutely. Devdas is indeed a very good book and hard to adapt honestly in film. Apart from Bimal Roy and the Uttam Kumar version, almost every Devdas adaptation is terrible, especially Kashyap's Dev'D.
