If I had a nickel for everytime someone uses bubbles in JoJo's I'd have three nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened three times
these girls have seen NUMEROUS people die in this series and still don't recognize the vapor of D E A T H
To be fair, so far 3 characters have survived it and Kira's victims never had that vapor (or at least the explosion didn't show it)

@@wessltov Not every character gets the vapor, (like Jonathan) it's pretty random in a way, but still, you'll never see an extra character getting the vapor since it's supossed to be on more tragics deaths.
Also Part 5 breaks with a lot of JoJo normal things like the sign of "THIS CHARACTER HAS DIED"

Everyone knows the sound of rain can block any other sounds, even menacing fighting sounds. That's why people use the sound of rain to sleep. This is a big brain move by Araki.

Even without the addition of Stray Cat and before the arrow, he has one of the most dangerous Stands.
And yes they don’t hear the explosions since they are silent. Also apparently in the manga it rains way harder so that
it at least somewhat explains why they can’t hear the battle.
Hayato is the MVP of this part.
Not only is the rain harder, but iirc they're a block or two further away.
Araki thinks that he made Kira a bit too strong, he also said that it wouldn't had been a surprise if josuke would've lost to Kira

That's what makes Part 5 villain so scary. 0 power buffs.
From what I remember this whole scene is supposed to happen while it's raining super hard, like hard enough to muddle the sound of explosions and people's screams. They really didn't show it well in the anime. If they didn't want to animate rain or add constant raining sounds in the background they at least could've changed the scene a bit to make more sense.
For example instead of being around the corner Jotaro and the others could've been far away from the meeting place because they got held up in traffic or something like that
I saw a comment saying they actually were further away in the manga.
@@Daymyan22 yes they were, but they changed in the anime bc one scene later wouldn't make sense if they really were that far away, but then that made this one scene not make sense XD

Iirc, Jotaro and the others were farther away than the others in the manga, so it made more sense that they couldn’t hear anything
Also, the phone call at Hayato’s house was a wrong number, he just used that opportunity to call Josuke
Fun fact!;
Remember when at the beginning of part three, Jotaro tried shooting himself to make a point? Well because that bullet was right at his head, it must've (at least *slightly)* deafened Jotaro's ear. That's a reasonable explanation for why he thought the Josuke's voice was just the rain!

I've said this before, but not sure if here or elsewhere, but. I find one thing weird about JoJo's that kind of bothers me and it's clearly bothering you at the beginning of this episode is that sometimes the JoBros priorities are a bit weird. Like sometimes they really need to be a lot more fast but they take their time even though they're very clearly in a pinch. Like what you said about hayato getting jotaro and the rest of them, that would make sense cuz they're kind of you know stopping each other, josuke and Kira, so how I told won't be a primary target and well the show is still hype

So now you see what I've been saying. Hayato is the true hero. He's unbelievably good at dealing with what's going on, especially considering he has literally no idea what is going on with any of the Stands.
