Honda PC50 back on road after 40 years

- My 1970 Honda PC50 was bought a week ago on ebay as a non-runner. It had been off the road since the 1970s.
I stripped and cleaned the carburettor, added fresh fuel and pedalled like mad until it fired up.
I adjusted the brakes, put it in for an MOT and it passed with no advisories.
It's slow and looks silly but is free to tax and does over 200mpg. It's a lot of fun for very little money.

Does it actually need an mot?
It doesn't now but it did need one 4 years ago before the law changed.
