- “The Feminine Urge” by The Last Dinner Party, from their UK No.1 debut album “Prelude to Ecstasy”, recorded live at their “intimate variety show” held at The Roundhouse, Camden, London, England on Thursday 1 February 2024, the eve of the album’s release.
There are many successful bands that have long careers and never come close to writing a song this good.
They worth the hype.
I can’t take my eyes off of her. Captivating. Freddie and David would be proud.
What are Freddie and David to her????
They are both her dad.@@promemer666
Congratulations to the band for grabbing the UK’s No.1 spot tonight with their debut album “Prelude to Ecstasy” 🎉
This reminds me of siouxsie and the banshees so much…love it!!!
I'm sorry. I don't think I can really put into words how amazing I find this song and this performance! I love it so much! 💜💜💜
I just found them and I think I’m in love…
Strong modern day Kate Bush vibes. Living for it!
Ayer las vi en el lunario del auditorio nacional en CDMX y fue épico ❤! No grabé ni un segundo y ahorita me encuentro buscando videos jajaja
That is a great song.
Love this band
That drum, bass, piano vibe during those chorus lines.....
Amazing group yeh.
Great song and can't wait to see the music video of this tune. Which is officially coming.
I'm so glad I met them at Coachella from youtube! They rock!
yes, but for those of us not in the UK or unable to get to their upcoming international dates it's a real gift
thanks for the video
You’re welcome. It was a great gig!
This was perfect for
My Lady Jane series
Hi! This is Nick, we spoke at the venue! Sorry I'm so late getting back to you - thank you so much for getting the concert from such a great angle! Any chance you have the file as a full recording?
Hi Nick, Hadn’t forgotten. I’m switching broadband providers on the 26th and planning to set up a separate contact email for the channel that I can change if I get loads of spam to it.
Hi Nick, I've just set one up. It's... liveinconcert@btinternet.com
Amazing video, what camera did you use for this?
Just my regular iPhone 12 Pro set to HD and 30fps and edited on the phone itself in iMovie. It’s small and light enough to hold but I must try setting it to 4k and 60fps one of these days (the files are about 7 times bigger). The stage lighting was better than in a lot of venues, which makes a huge difference. I queued in the freezing cold from lunchtime to get a spot in the middle of the second row. Landscape is best for RUclips so you don’t want to be too close or it’ll distort and the neck of the bass will be 10 foot long!
Like this band. Not rubbish at all.
Just saw them live in Manchester tonight! It was a really sophisticated performance that shows just how far they have come since Blackpool Library, unbelievably less than a year ago! All the usual faves plus a sensational cover of the Catherine Howe song Up North by Lizzie, the best Call Me I’ve heard them do so far, Emily in an OTT angel suit and Abi mixing her words up. Again! Impressive support too from Lucia & the Best Boys following their brilliant recent tour with Garbage.
The engineer failed. Shit. TLDP doest deserve vox drops
lot of this about. Declan Mckenna never had a decent engineer to give him the BIG sound his songs warranted on stage.
Not a fan of this imagine being front and center just to get your phone out to record
Don't watch it then. Nobody is forcing you.
Not gonna lie, I was stood next to the guy filming this. He filmed the entire concert on his phone. Sure, it makes for good content. But it sucks for everyone standing around him.
You mean, so we can all see this great performance? I'm a fan of this!
Love this band but I'm a little bit tyred of anti men songs
😂😂😂
It's literally not an "anti-men" song. Stop being a crybaby.
what part of this song is anti-men? I'm genuinely curious how you made that interpretation
which part is anti men....... ?????????
