Bad cat glowing exhaust and not running good. X son in law burned up an engine because he is stupid. He asked me why the car exhaust was glowing red up to the head. I told him to get a cat and he just took it off and put a piece of flex pipe in. Curred the problem but a little too late. Great video thanks brother keep up the great work see you in the next video
I really need to stop being a cheap ass and just buy a BP kit already 🤣. Great information and video Justin! Thanks for sharing this man and have a great 4th of July man!
Great video man .i have 02 toyota camry le.2.4 my needle fluctuates just like yours wen car is on .when i rep it up 2500 rpm the gauge goes backwards it goes below zero 0 on the green side .neddle fluctuates ..is this good or bad?,im a Diy,...person
Does taking the O2 sensor out and running the engine also cause problems with the fuel trim and the way the fuel trim operates? What do an OBD fault reset??
If you have upstream issues after replacing cat, can it still be a muffler issue. I had an unknown issue a couple mechanics have not been able to solve. We’ve done the catalytic converter, the throttlebody and injectors in my upstream O2 is still going off. I need suggestions?
The adapter you're talking about there is naught for if the EGR, the adapter there is for vehicles who have O2 sensors that are bolted on
not sure if you were told or figured it out yet but that adapter you thought was for egr is actually for Toyota style o2 sensors. they bolt in

good video, i saw a video by ole scotty kilmer and that flange adapter is used on some older setup at o2 sensors that have that flange....
I have the same kit. Works great! I used it last week. 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
Nice kit. Was hoping for a after test to see if the needle smoothed out and if it showed any pressure at all.
I am guessing the flat adapter is for early Toyota o2. Not egr.
Yup, for sure a Toyota O² sensor test plate.
Great video and a nice little kit there. All sounds easy to do.
Thank you for the great video! God blessed you!

Thanks for these teaching videos!
The adapter is for Toyota o2 sensors
Yes it is!
The Matco gauge you reviewed in the beginning isn't the same one you used for the test. What brand gauge did you use for the test?

Yes it does mess with fuel trims but, if your looking for a
Clogged converter you should see a difference with the o2 sensor out.
Like always great video
Does it matter if the engine is hot or cold?
It looks like the Lang set I have. It works well.
Cool stuff, i have gotten my monies worth outta mine!

Muffler plays a big part too....this might be the last thing needed replacement .they get clogged to
@@MariaGonzalez-ei1pv thank you
nice info i just drill 1/8 pipe tread and put 1/8 plug after
nice vid
How often is it the cat vs a faulty sensor that gives bad emissions in your experience?
Basically.....a simple vacuum gauge would do the same thing....
