Hello Paul - greetings from Poland I really loved video number 2 from Dorset. A superb film of an area I know very well. A beautiful walk down to Eype and across to West Bay. Fantastic sea views, made even better by the glorious sunshine. Lovely photographs, excellent commentary and music to suit the video too.
Good morning Michael! Glad you enjoyed it. I thoroughly enjoyed doing this walk too. I was very fortunate with the weather here. Thanks for your kind words. Take care, Paul
Thank you! I am so pleased that it brought back happy memories for you. It is a most delightful coastal spot. Thanks for watching and commenting. Cheers, Paul
Lovely video. Such a varied geology along those cliffs and beaches - all enhanced by the low early morning sunlight, the cries of the gulls and the sound of the waves. Difficult to believe it is still February, though it did look slightly frosty in the shade along the lane - or was that my imagination?
Thank you Malcolm! Glad you enjoyed it. Yes, the geology is incredible in the area. I think it was the deep shade in the lane giving the image a more bluey tinge which made it look frosty - although my car was in deep frost when I left Gloucestershire at 6am! Take care, Paul
So relaxing! Lovely to have a cuppa on the beach in the sun and listening to the waves. Really helpful to know about the car park. I seem to remember parking at a caravan park a few years ago. Just adore the South West coast path! Nice to hear the families having fun and the seagulls squealing! Burton Bradstock is gorgeous! It has a lovely cafe on the beach. Gorgeous walk! Thank you!
Thank you Louise! Glad you enjoyed it too - I loved walking and filming this! The weather was perfect! Yes, I hope to do either Burton Bradstock or Golden Cap next time. It is a terrific area. Thanks for the cafe tip there! That car park is very handy, but probably gets jammed up in the peak season. Hope to Dorset bound again soon - preferably on the train next time. Take care, Paul
Hi Paul, A truly magnificent coastline. It brought back many many memories for me. We used to camp just a bit further down the coastline at Charmouth. Alass the campsite has disappeared under the A35 now, it was situated by the River Char (must have been a good spot for a cuppa!!!) Those cliffs do look menacing especially the one behind your bench on the beach, a magnificent backdrop. Really enjoyed the sound as you walked along the sea shore. I do prefer a shingle beach. I didnt know about the Nick Berry series filmed there, of course as we have already mentioned it was also famous for Reggie Perrin, you know I really didnt know he was in 2001 Space Oddity, one of the few speaking parts. I did come across a fan site dedicated to him which also included Rising Damp and his cinzano adverts!! Anyway. Look forward to the third in this trilogy. Thanks very much for making the long trip down there. All the best!!
Hi David! Yes, the River Char! Fab name! I like a shingle beach too - far more dramatic sound. Yes Leonard Rossiter was a brilliant actor - taken far too soon sadly. I really enjoyed this walk! Hope to have a break in Dorset later this year, all being well. Take care, Paul
Really enjoyed this video! If you look in a westerly direction on the beach ( & once in the village) you can see Lyme Regis clinging to the cliffs! We watched an episode of ‘Harbour Lights’ being filmed there! Ps I have converted my son to ‘Westcountry Wanderings’.
Thank you Diana! Glad you enjoyed it Yes, I could see it there hanging onto the cliffs - there have been some landslips there though, unfortunately. Oh, wow! Amazing to have seen Harbour Lights being filmed Well done on coverting your son to WW! Take care, Paul.
A lovely video,Paul, as usual thankyou so much for that!
Cheers Michael!
Glad you enjoyed it.
Take Care,
Paul

Great walk Paul. I have happy memories of West Bay on sunny days. I loved the creamy surf, the gingerbread beach and the blue skies🍦🍪 💙
Thank you Cathy!
I really enjoyed doing this walk.
The weather was truly perfect - like the time I did Lyme Regis end of last January.
Take care,

Always enjoy a great amble along the coast...especially if there is a beach that Otis can have a wonderful frolic on!
Thank you!
I really enjoyed this walk - I was very lucky with the weather.
