- The Queen attends the annual Royal Maundy Service at St George's Chapel in Windsor, and gives small silver coins know as 'Maundy money' as symbolic alms to local elderly recipients.

She reminds me of my dear grandma who passed 15 years ago. Short, sweet, smiles. My shorty wasn’t brutish of course, she was a good down home southern gran.....but the purse, the style, the beautiful blue eyes. I’m getting the feels.

Wonderful to see Princess Eugenie accompany her Granny to the Maundy Service at St George's Chapel.
I hope she gets to take on additional Royal family duties. She does them well and if it goes that way I couldn't be happier for her. I'm sure her cousin William would be glad of her help when he eventually becomes King.
@@jasminderpinder what about uncle Charles? The thing is, both Beatrice and Eugenie have independent jobs outside of the firm, so they cannot carry out official duties on behalf of the Queen. But they both continue to be Patrons of the charities and organisations they support.
@@monalisasmile6629 I omitted Uncle Charles because he'll still have enough older family help by the time he ascends the throne, but that same help may not be around or available to William by the time he gets there. Besides Eugenie is his cousin and they are closer in age to each other. Yes, I know what you mean about B and E having jobs outside of the firm, but William (or Charles) can change that if they make the right offer.

Lovely to see Princess Eugenie out with the Queen...don't see why she and Beatrice can't be allowed to do a bit more, I know they want to limit the firm to a degree, however the four can't to everything...there children need to have a life before getting into it..so why not let the two Princessses be involved.
Lorna Cameron-I don't see how just Prince Charles and William will be able to pick up the slack once the Queen passes.Besides the Queen, the hardest working royal is Princess Anne. Prince Charles could definitely use Beatrice and Eugenies help.

Very Cool, hi it is I the SkyWalker writing to comment about this video if I may, very cool: in my opinion it is always good seeing the Queen, it was very cool seeing her at the Maundy Ceremony. In my imagination I wish I was there accompanying the Queen as she gifted guest with Maundy Money, I imagine I could not have resisted quoting scriptures...I would have quoted a scripture about receiving, followed by a verse about pleasing your Master, followed by a verse about cherishing. I would have repeated those verses until all the coins were handed out, I would have done that because everthing has meaning and meeting the Queen is sacred; I believe a few scriptures would have commemorated the special occasion...with the coin guess would have had a gift as well as the honor of meeting the Queen and I think that would have been very cool.

I just realized if anything happens to the Queen at least Prince Harry will have Meghan and Baby Sussex to help him get through. God knows all and why he brought Meghan into his life . William will have Kate and his kids. I am sure they see The Queen not only as a grandma but like a second mother.
