I love grapes. My parents used to grow them. They need to be sprayed 15 times on average with some nusty stuff, it can't be healthy. There is so much cancer in my valley.
Back in the eighties, as a criminal investigator, I investigated some researchers at state university for fraud, because we got allegations they were using (and paying government money) for false data (basically, they had students doing the research, and paying them to do it, and then they found out the students had falsified the research data, and they used it anyway). I was shocked at the lack of cooperation we got from everyone at the university. I thought they would want this kind of thing rooted out, too. Finally, one researcher explained it to me, "You're exposing the dirty little secret about most research. Falsified data. And, the reason no one is cooperating is that they are doing it, too." And, then it got worse. I was called off the investigation by my boss, who had been called by the governor, who had been called by the university president. The reason: if we continued on our case, the university would have been forced to pay back to the federal government, the 1.5 million they had received to do this research, and the university didn't have the money to pay it back. I've never looked at research and studies the same way since.
Full disclosure 🤣: During end of 2018 to around February 2019 I tried grapes in a bowl, and that didn't go well at all. I just wanted to add that the word "CAN" actually implied that something MIGHT do something or that it COULD or that it IS POSSIBLE not that it WILL do something. The use of that specific word is definitely strategic.
A lovely area in Northern California used to be called the Redwood Empire and considering the vast number of Redwood that still grow there is an apt name. That is until the WINE growers took over the family farms and ranches, pumped the water table dry and renamed it, with heavy advertising, Wine Country. The table grape growing quantity is nothing compared to the wine grape industry.
Though, table grapes and wine grapes are very different. If you made wine with table grapes, it would be the most horrible-sweet-sugar swill ever made.

So the Drudge article states: "Researchers posit that eating grapes regularly could combat the effects of a junk food diet. The juicy “superfood” flushes out refined fats and sugars in processed foods, scientists say." A quick google of the definition of refined fats: "Following is a list of some commonly used refined oils. Cottonseed Oil. Palm Oil. Coconut Oil. Safflower Oil. Sunflower Oil. Corn/Soybean Oil. Olive Oil. Canola Oil." Here's an idea. Just don't eat that cr@p to start with... You'll get back that 5+ yrs of life that the refined food TAKES OFF..
Logic and common sense should tell us that sugar in any form will not contribute to longevity of life. Unless, of course, grapes were the only food then, yes, eating something beats starving to death but that would be short term for sure. 😆 Thank you, Dr. Berg, for digging into this. @@utube0372how many you like😊 just keep your mind occupied find something to do so time will pass easy😅
@@george12cosmin ok gotcha! Lol
Fermented grapes in the form of red wine. A glass a day is good for the heart. I may drink a bottle of Rose every 1-2 months.
Good Grief! You mean there is a doctor that actually questions studies? This is a miracle!
Thank you Dr. Barry for the valuable information. You have probably saved many lives.
I knew it Doc, my wife is a grape binger and I've been explaining what the word moderation means!
Thanks
It took me months to break myself from my grapes! A good raspberry harvest broke its back at last.
@@lenabreijer1311 .....actually, I shovel them down just about as much as she does, LOL
Omg lol I bout spit out my coffee when you said "Jethro bowl". My granny used to say that all the time lol so funny. 🤣🤣🤣
God bless you dear dr Berry!
It’s refreshing to listen to a knowledgeable doctor who actually cares about humans health!!!!!!!!!
Everything grown plant “food” is meant to be eaten in its season…My family eats fresh home grown muscadines and fresh wild grown blackberries as nature intended, off the vine. Just a few times a year when ripen on the vine.
Thanks for always looking out for us!!! Just the best Doctor we have!!!!

Dr Berry changed my life. I was in pain and very overweight. I am 53 and am the same weight I was when I was 18. I was in incredible shape at 18 and now at 53 I am in incredible shape for my age thanks to a carnivore lifestyle. I not only share my sucess by word of mouth but with my body. We need to keep sharing and spreading the message if we want to protect our way of life. I have helped a few individuals. But the second thing we need to do is VOTE. Voting is how we keep meat affordable and not overly taxed or regulated. PLEASE VOTE we need to vote the extreme left progressives out.
Amen!
👏👏👍
Yessssssss!!! Cow farts are not destroying the planet! There are people who actually believe that they do though.
I did a grape fast for 14 days and it was amazing! You should read the book The Grape Cure.
thanks for the tip! checking it out now!!
I saw that this morning in drudge. Hoping you would confront this falsity. Grapes cause me serious spikes in blood sugar. I don't miss eating them.
Do you also eat a lot saturated fat or are overweight?
@John Does Most people here are ultra carb phobic for lack of a better term. Hence the fear of pretty much any carb, especially sugar regardless if it is not eaten in excess.
Ooo, the trolls are pouting again. 😆 🤣 😂 😹 😆 🤣 😂 😹 😆 🤣 😂 😹 😆 🤣

That was outstanding Dr. Berry. Perfect in every way. Great presentation. Thank you for all that you do. We desperately need more doctors with your views and insights. 🥩🍗🥓🍖
My father in law’s father developed lung cancer and was not a smoker. He went on an eat grapes only diet for months Ans his cancer went into full remission. He died 8 years later in a motor vehicle accident. He had no reoccurrence of cancer.
There are no seed oils or processed food in grapes which I think are the biggest drivers for cancer.
Good for him!
yup
If only this story was true ..
My wife’s step father had prostate cancer and went on the grape diet. I told him he was feeding the cancer. A year later the cancer had spread to his spleen, colon and bones. A week after that check up he was dead.
Thank you for all that you do! Still loving you and Shreveport!
My Armenian grandmother used to tell me grapes are toxic, unless they’re made into wine. 😅
Ah, bet she was a hoot. Hugs to your grandma.

grapes are a tannin type food and they can have an effect on inhibiting or slowing down the breakdown of enzymes in the starch chain process
JETHRO BOWL! Literally a term for an imaginary unit of measurement used at our house!
That's how I used to eat all my food (in a Jethro Bodine size bowl). No wonder I have a weight problem. Back to OMAD and fasting long term.
My husband is a thin diabetic (T2). He is eating ketovore and 2 meals a day (18/6). He is doing fantastic at lowering his blood sugar, but is also losing weight and can’t afford to. He should put on 15, or so, pounds. What is your recommendation? You and Dr.Fung focus so much on losing weight, it’s disconcerting. Have you done a video that you can point us to that would address this issue? Thanks!
OMG 😳 That's totally insane.
I love it when you're in this mood!
These people no doubt did the Covid research too....
I love grapes. My parents used to grow them. They need to be sprayed 15 times on average with some nusty stuff, it can't be healthy. There is so much cancer in my valley.
This is great information . Doc your so helpfull to explain why regular consumption is a risky poor eating habit. May God bless.
I feel your frustration Doc and appreciate your honesty and straightforward self, thank you for being you 👍🏻😊
Back in the eighties, as a criminal investigator, I investigated some researchers at state university for fraud, because we got allegations they were using (and paying government money) for false data (basically, they had students doing the research, and paying them to do it, and then they found out the students had falsified the research data, and they used it anyway).
Thank you Dr Berry for always being upfront and looking out for us.
Full disclosure 🤣: During end of 2018 to around February 2019 I tried grapes in a bowl, and that didn't go well at all. Inflammation was sky high and I gained a tremendous amount of unwanted visceral fat. Nowadays I walk past grapes in a supermarket without giving them a second look, like a pro!
Thanks for all the wonderful work you do for the sake of our good health. Stay blessed.
Dr. Berry...you are a gem!
I hate this world's greed!
If I consume grapes they’re in the form of a glass of Merlot or Pinot Noir to go with my ribeye steak, and Brussels sprouts with bacon.
Oh dr Berry. You are the best. Thank you for your sensibility and your clarification. I am so grateful for you.❤
I’d only consume a “daily bowl of grapes” in the form of a nice dry red.
That was so interesting dr Ken. I just burst out laughing when the word mouse came up. Thanks
I prefer them squashed and through the glycolysis process😉
Thank you for all the research you do to keep us healthy. I am 4'11", weigh 106 pounds and am eating Keto; I lost 15 lbs. To be honest though I have Celiacs and eat a gluten free diet. I do have more energy now.
Thank you for pointing out the insanity of growing high water-usage fruit and veggies in a desert. To anyone with a brain, it is pretty clear that grapes = sugar bombs. Sure do appreciate the honesty!
When I have grapes I have a teacup full! That’s how I measure them out!
It surely helps the agriculture & grape industry. It also helps us to have great wines that without which we would not be able to enhance our food enjoyment helping our digestion and giving us a high.
🤣🤗❤️
😆 🤣 😂 😹 😆 🤣 😂 I used to enjoy wines. However, four years ago I stopped drinking because my husband was ill and being his sole caretaker I never knew when I'd need to transport him to the ER. He has since passed but I never resumed drinking wines. Don't miss it, save a ton of money, and my body doesn't need the sugars. Have developed a real love of water. 😜

Can i add 5 cans of beer a day to add ten yrs to my life?
Yes!
Only if you squeeze some grapes in it
Wheat belly is the same as beer belly😉
I'll go with that and if it's ok, then let's add a couple of bear claws for balance.
Only if " they" do a study that says it's OK 🍺 😜
I used to eat so many grapes. Thanks for opening my eyes on the sugar content in fruit.
Good God...does it EVER stop? Thanks, Dr. Berry...I already knew not to eat grapes because they are just a sugar bomb, but THIS is just wrong on so many levels. Keep the videos coming...we need to hear about this type of dastardly advertising.
Thank you for taking the time to research this Dr. Berry. It appears sugar negatively affects our liver whether it's juice or the alcohol in wine
I'm an atheist but thank god you doctor came into this world.
Used to live there. You are 100-percent right. Lots of cancer there, too. Might have something to do with all the pesticides.
Though, table grapes and wine grapes are very different. If you made wine with table grapes, it would be the most horrible-sweet-sugar swill ever made.
I very rarely eat grapes, maybe once every few months just because I like the tast of dark red grapes, the tartar the better.
Grapes are what got me in trouble with pre diabetes in the first place! 🤣
I heard about the study this motning. I was waiting for the catch and thank you for bringing us the information.

So the Drudge article states:
"Researchers posit that eating grapes regularly could combat the effects of a junk food diet. The juicy “superfood” flushes out refined fats and sugars in processed foods, scientists say."
A quick google of the definition of refined fats:
"Following is a list of some commonly used refined oils.
Cottonseed Oil. Palm Oil. Coconut Oil. Safflower Oil. Sunflower Oil. Corn/Soybean Oil. Olive Oil. Canola Oil."
Here's an idea. Just don't eat that cr@p to start with... You'll get back that 5+ yrs of life that the refined food TAKES OFF..
Can’t thank you enough for your time and efforts to keep us informed. Love the Berry Family! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Logic and common sense should tell us that sugar in any form will not contribute to longevity of life. Unless, of course, grapes were the only food then, yes, eating something beats starving to death but that would be short term for sure. 😆 Thank you, Dr. Berg, for digging into this. Confirming who did the "study" is key to the purpose of it. SELL MORE GRAPES!!!
I used to eat grapes every day and I miss it but I used to eat them at night.. which was probably double trouble. All that sugar screwed with my sleep, was really noticeable.
Apply one simple rule to all "food"....if it's loaded with carbs and/or loaded with sugar.....it's not good for you. Doesn't matter if it's a fruit or a vegetable or whatever.
Simple! ❤️
Or as Dr Ken and others say….if it comes in a box it’s 99% bad for you!
Please Dr. KEN you have to give us a warning at the beginning of your videos that it could cause a belly laugh without even trying. Oh my God when you said it was a male study I almost Peed myself lol! Absolutely love it
I just want to say with tears, thank you Dr. Berry. I guess this trickery stuff isn't new, but it's new to me and very scary. All of my grandparents and parents are dead or dying because of the crap diet. It's not just a new way of eating, it's really a brand new lifestyle for me. I need to question everything I've learned about nutrition and health. It's hard because it's deeply engrained in my mind! I wonder what else I still believe about food thats a lie!
I felt like you just described until I understood what works for my body and health. About a year in I stopped wanting the foods that were causing me issues. It was just so nice to no longer have all those health issues and have more energy and vitality at 72 than when I was in my 30s. Just keep putting one foot in front of the other. Pretty soon it will all be automatic. ❤️
