Hello Mike thanks for sharing your thoughts on the three Admiral Ackbar variants. I have the sequel trilogy Ackbar figure 2 pack I got off eBay years ago. And got the Galaxy package Ackbar when he was released. I wasn't sure if I'd get the 40th Jedi version and I'm still debating if I will if I find him on sale in another two or three weeks I might get him, waiting for my credit card billing cycle to flip. But I myself really like the Admiral Ackbar black series figure. Fish heads, fish heads eat them up yum. Thanks again Mike for taking the time to put this video together for us. I wish Admiral Raddus will be a reality soon… but hes so overdue that he may never come… definitely getting the ROTJ Ackbar and MAYBE the Force Awakens one for a Mon Calamari rebel trooper custom with some cloth and paint
Vintage collection is 3,75 inches tall , black series is 6 inches tall, the “archive” line is when hasbro rereleases black series figures it has already made and released years earlier , allowing people to get those figures for retail price if scalpers are the only way to get them
You should do this with Luke, ooh and Darth Vader oh oh oh and Obi Wan and Anakin and maybe just maybe Han Solo then you'd have to do Chewbacca and at that point do Leia as well. Long story short I want every version of this you can make
Admiral Ackbar-character who should have done the Holdo maneuver or at least been involved. But subversive storytelling is cooler. 🙄 What if Mon Calamari use a robotic leg set up so they fit in better with the other humanoid Rebels? I think they could have engineered a head swivel along with the “it’s a trap” gapping mouth. The Kenner Ackbar looks like a Pokémon. Oh crud you just made me want that repaint. Not due to the sexual innuendos but that staff is cool. The foil card is appealing too. A chair? You want a chair? ……..me too.
Which committee was responsible for killing off Ackbar in the films. Devastating and in many ways more upsetting than what happened to the rest of the OG crew in the sequel's. Mon Calamari has got to be the most stupid yet hilarious species name ever. Do you remember the Kenner fig and the comfy easy fit shoes he was wearing. No leather boots for that dude. Comfort all the way. 🤘💪
Deluxe release with his chair would have been fantastic. I have the first and regular release. great figure.

2 out of 3 for me. Didn't get the Kenner version. I would love a Raddus figure though, and I don't think a repainted Ackbar does the trick.

So I’m a fairly new collector. But what’s the difference between the vintage/archive/black series?
