This is easily one of the best interviews you have ever done and that's saying a lot.
LETS GO!!!! Hopefully there's enough material left for the trilogy
Excellent interview as usual James🔥
I was never a Scott Norton fan until I listened to your interview. He has led an interesting life.
Same. Now he’s on my top list always knew of him and he was a strength beast but knowing more about him I totally underrated him
Some of you dudes missed out, Norton was amazing, he got overshadowed because WCW at the time had people like Hogan, Macho Man, Sting, Hall, Nash, etc. WCW had a ton of hidden gems though. Was a great time to be a wrestling fan, even with all of the crappy booking.
Norton was the real muscle of the nWo
💪💪💪
Perfect listen before I go to bed before flying off to Tokyo tomorrow
Cheers wsi!
Thank you for the full interview
It was a nice Christmas gift 😁
This Definitely Has To Be (1) Of The Best Interactions AkA Interviews I've Ever Seen ....James Asks Questions And Stays Outta The Way Of Interrupting His Guess And He Allows Them To Answer The Questions But With Scott Norton ....Was A Whole Another Level Of Story Telling .....Was Off The Hook...This Shoot Interview Part 1 Aswell As Part 2💯💯💯💯
Watched all the clips now time to watch it in full thanks for all the content
Bobby heenan was a legend as a wrestler and manager the heenan family. Met him n 96 or 97 at. At a mom n pop vid store n got his autograph an tickets for thunder ⛈️
maybe late 97 ? ... the first Thunder was Jan.8 , 1998 ... i thought it was later and your comment made me wonder so i had to google it
The master of the shoulderbreaker
Could listen to his stories all day. Those 2 hours flew by.
Top notch interview
It’s still wild to me, even after almost 30 years and countless interviews, Eric still REFUSES to admit how much control Hogan held over WCW creative.
I didn’t know who Norton was when he got to wcw. I knew he was a beast but that was it.
Wow, so much respect for Scott Norton. I never really knew him since he worked most of his career in Japan. Legit bad ass and never took his size to be an A-hole or a bully. Very well spoken, respected the business, respected all his peers and even the Jobbers, never called them jobbers, . I'm glad to her all his great stories and i'm glad he was a stand up guy and said fck you to WWF and Vince. Funny how he said after he refused the WWE contract, he flew back home in Coach class and he was ok with it .
Nobody could survive N64 WCW vs NWO Nortons punch 👊
Hahahahaha.....duuuuude, that was my main back then!! Him and DDP.
The prank on Randy Savage is hilarious.
Oh shit yea!!! 🙌 👏 👏 👏
Loved this interview with Scott Norton. Can't wait for the next one.
Man, Norton has stories for days. I hope a part 3 happens.
Armour abs Norton
The man who punished Ernest Miller
It would be great to have Scott on again. Very enjoyable.
Norton is A1 doing these interviews, top notch
Another great interview james. Norton was definetly one of my favs to be in wcw/nWo revenge. He could do a powerbomb like a normal move! His special was the shoulder breaker which seemed tame compared to the powerbomb 😂
Scott was such a powerhouse
Scotts a great storyteller, no ce calm demeanor, no bs
I loved Norton in WCW! Just a THICK BEAST!
Scott Norton is such a nice guy.
I love the insight he has given regarding the North Korean trip.
Scott Flash Norton NJPW IWGP Heavyweight Champion IWGP Tag Team Champion 1999 NJPW G1 Tag League Winner 1996 NJPW Super Grand Tag League Winner and member of the nWo
Scorpio never said Hawk said he ran out of steroids and pain pills, he said Hawk said he couldn't take his steroids and pain pills with him and was in withdrawal. If he's taking pills to stop drinking and they're making him feel like crap .... he's in withdrawal
That saying, “never meet your hero’s” does NOT apply here. This guy treats everyone like he really appreciates them.
Always loved Scott's work and my favourite player to play as in the WCW N64 games.
To have been in that friend group in the 1980's would have been epic.
No questions about Ice Train? Fire & Ice was decent for their short run
They need to get Norton vs. Holly uploaded on WWE vault now.
Loving the interview James but I will not stand for your slander of Pocari Sweat. Maybe the first one tastes a bit like saliva, but after that first one they really hit the spot
How and why is there a part 2 but no part 1?
Hey James can you please get tank Abbott on your show
What about Tony Halme? I mean they were a tagteam.
How did hawk get hep c
maybe sharing needles doing roids , cause he didnt blade a ton .. some other legend names have popped up getting mentioned for HEP C in the last 10 years , but im sure there are a ton who keep it private .. Orton , Dusty , Valiant , Abby and others were mentioned ... theres gotta be a bunch cause they would all bleed so much together in the 70's and 80's
I'm more curious about how he got a WWF contract while having Hep-C....
There's been a real backlash against Dark Side Of The Ring recently. I'm all for them holding to account scumbags like Flair who've gotten away with bad behaviour for decades but I'm not a fan of the show jeopardising careers and it sounds like the main producers have moved away from managing everything and delegated to others who don't do such a good job. They also seem to be running out of ideas nowadays and are featuring some really questionable subject matter. I mean, John Tenta? The only really controversial thing in his career was a 5 minute match with Koji Kitao that turned into a shoot. Dark Side are alienating so many wrestlers that soon only the AEW guys will be working with them.
He seems like regular dude
Skinner and Skinnier! LOLOLOL
