- In memory of Keith Charles Flint, Russian The Prodigy fan community and undersigned people would ask you for the official release of «Device #1» - the album that was only test-pressed in 2003. It was one and only Keith's solo project that had never seen the light of the day.
We are convinced that this release would support his memory as an artist himself, who went through a tough time of living with the mask of his character.

RIP Keith you legend!!! Anyone here from the UK, its Keith's funeral procession Friday (the details are on The Prodigy homepage) I'm going, to honour his memory and I think hes gonna get a hell of a great turn out. They are also talking of putting his statue in Braintree town centre in memory.
I think it's awesome they're building a statue of him in his home town! I've been a fan of The Prodigy and Keith Flint since Firestarter was released... Breathe sealed it, I was hooked. I was growing up then and it put me on a path towards heavier music. If it wasn't for The Prodigy I wouldn't be a metalhead. RIP Mr Flint 🤘🤘
@@GTHESNAKEXBOX I think it's the least that our local council can do. Braintree isnt exactly well known, with The Prodigy being the only good thing to have come out of here. I think I heard that another small town or village round here is also gonna put a statue up. He's funeral service is being held at a small church in Bocking called St. Mary's (which is the church I was married in) The Prodigy got me into dance music and their cross over into rock and punk is unrivalled, I think it's the aggression that their music has always had. I hope The Prodigy continue, but there will be a big hole left by Keith's passing.

Well, he put an awful amount of effort into something he just wanted to bin,
....... as I said, the lyrics are quite dark, maybe he didn't want his fans sussing out how depressed he was, even bak then....

Wait, this... exists? This is amazing! How have I never heard of this before, he definitely should have done more with this. So much energy it feels like he was underutilized a little bit in The Prodigy
This specific song was the official intro for the German release of helsing the anime, and I have to admit I never knew it was from Keith flint. I showed this video my girlfriend and she thought of the fact that the singer is somehow looking like the singer of prodigy and well yeah that's the story how I found out it's him.
This is good. I always thought the Prodigy were pretty average to be honest.. But Breathe and Firestarter were so out there for the early 90s and this has the same energy :)

This was the Opening theme song for the EU version of Helsing . Laughs was the Ending version. And the moment I herad both songs i fell in love with those themes.
It was sad to later found out that this album never took off the ground.

The most brilliant artists have the most debilitating and suffocating self-doubt. His depressive episodes had been no secret in the industry for many years.
I'll be walking down to Keith's funeral shortly, I'll be sure to give him the shout out he deserves!!! I drove through Braintree town centre an hour back (about 10.30) playing Firestarter and Breathe as loud as my little Ford stereo would allow and got plenty of waves from fans meeting up for the procession. It doesn't start till 14.30, so I'll think Keith will get a top send off!!! RIP Keith!!!

@@2010dame it was a great turn out, the fans certainly didnt let him down. Both before and after the service was like a mini rave (brought some great memories back for sure!) and there were fans from all across the world. I really hope The Prodigy continue, but the loss of Keith has certainly left a hole.
@@2010dame KEITH said that he was cashing all in and NOT saying at all. In an interview he mentioned one day he d just pull the plug. He said he knew no one was going to look after him when he got old and he simply did this to AVOID an unwanted situation.... So what he dis was a WELL THOUGHT ACT. he just said "thats enough, Im done!" We may not like the out come but have to respect KEITH for doing what he wanted to do. RIP!

I was lucky enough to have seen one of his shows 2003 in London. Amazing energy, massive sound from the two drums and Liam as well as Maxim visiting the set. I was blessed. Never ever gonna forget this. Wish I had any photos.

Firestarter was really what drove Leeroy out he was unsettled just before coz he could see where things was leading The Prodigy originally started off Liam , Keith and leeroy dancers & MC Sharkey & maxim in the rave good old days bck in 1990 late 80s onwards but Keith after firestarter was released was getting more vocal parts and beats made for his vocals watch Leeroy Thornhill interviews tells all !! .. So many greats have succumbed to a combination of depression and substance abuse these last couple of years it’s crazy. Dolores, Robin Williams, Chester, Prince and now Flint. It’s a disease of our times and it’s real when even people who have everything can’t find hope to continue living. Humanity has endured harsher things not even 100 years ago yet here we are feeling desperate and alone feeding on poison to numb ourselves.

Well, technically Keith was never the 'dancer for the Prodigy'. He was the lead singer. Leeroy Thornhill was more of a 'dancer' (he actually played some keyboards, but basically just danced on stage)...

I think you misunderstood me, as I was trying to say that he started off as the dancer for them in their early days, when they were just a dance/rave band using samples and then they broke through with the song Firestarter with him on vox, then Breathe.
I just wish his solo work took off because its awesome and proves he was very talented in his own right as a lead singer.
I had no idea that he had an album, that was shelved, for some unknown reason because its awesome - I only found it by coming here after he died.
It deserves to be released, its a great legacy to a very special man. Its just all too sad, tragic...
