- Learn the difference between "a few" and "few" with examples.
"a few" and "few" are quantifiers. The general meaning is a small number of a countable noun.
But there is an important difference in tone and feeling and I explain that difference in this English language lesson.
For uncountable nouns, we use “a little” and “little”.
The accent in this video is British English.

I found this exercise and I couldn't solve it ,here is it
. Come on Robert! I need (few*a few*little*a little) help.
2. How interesting! (few*a few*a little*little) people know that.
3. We made good time because there was (few *a few*little*a little) traffic so early in the morning.
4. We are going away for (few*a few*a little*little) days.
5.I need to borrow (few*a few*a little*little) euros, could you help me?
6. Did you take (few*a few*a little*little) photographs during your holidays?
well! I have the correct answers ,but I need to understand more ,if it is possible Sir
And thank you in advance

a few and few both are used for countable nouns only..is it true?
THANK YOU.
hello , i am regularly watching your videos. just one question arise - some, few ,and all are determiner or pronoun ? likewise each and every - each is determiner and pronoun other side every is just determiner. example - each of his friends ( each is working as pronoun. which is result for selection from his friends, which is pronoun) but selection can be done for every which is only determiner so we use every friend. now question arise that some, few, a little and all are all act as a determiner or pronouns ?
thanks very much

So by this logic "I have few problems" means I'm disatisfied with my number of problems? It depends on what you're referring to.
For the French people
A few = Quelques
Few = Peu de
Oui. Exact. :)

Is there any difference between few and very few plz some one answer me
"Very few" simply emphasizes that only a small percentage is being discussed.
#Binod
My father gave me a few sheep on my b day
My teacher told us that A FEW>FEW.Few means extremely less...😑
can i say “ She says some few words”?
No
Which is better:
FEW people know the password.Actually, only 3 people know .
Or
A FEW people know the password.Actually, only 3 people know .
It depends - it's relative.
"Few people know the password" = a small number of people know the password.
"A few people know the password" = a small number of people relative to a larger group know the password.
you put a few exercises .thank you alot teacher
Ryt or wrong m confused
(1)/ There are only (2)/ a few companies (3)/ which can handle (4)/ projects of this magnitude. (5)/ No error
i am from India...this kind of questions in bank exams....what is the error in this sentence...i think few and a few..... please kindly explain..... 😭😭
I don't really understand all those numbers. Your question is confusing. But I cannot see any errors in that sentence.

I guess ,Jane is a little greedy . She is some what difficult to satisfy and greater desire for more of every things .
Ha yes, she seems very demanding. :)
Türkler 🇹🇷
I don't think his explanation is correct although it is well intencioned and works with the examples he cited. If you change the noun to something like "issues" the connotation of the sentence will change making his claim invalid.
Why is Jane so judgemental 🤔
Unfotunately, MU haven't been going very well for the last two seasons.
