  • Learn the difference between "a few" and "few" with examples.
"a few" and "few" are quantifiers. The general meaning is a small number of a countable noun.
But there is an important difference in tone and feeling and I explain that difference in this English language lesson.
For uncountable nouns, we use “a little” and “little”.
The accent in this video is British English.

    2. How interesting! (few*a few*a little*little) people know that.
    3. We made good time because there was (few *a few*little*a little) traffic so early in the morning.
    4. We are going away for (few*a few*a little*little) days.
5.I need to borrow (few*a few*a little*little) euros, could you help me?
    6. Did you take (few*a few*a little*little) photographs during your holidays?
well! I have the correct answers ,but I need to understand more ,if it is possible Sir
    And thank you in advance

hello , i am regularly watching your videos. just one question arise - some, few ,and all are determiner or pronoun ? likewise each and every - each is determiner and pronoun other side every is just determiner. example - each of his friends ( each is working as pronoun. which is result for selection from his friends, which is pronoun) but selection can be done for every which is only determiner so we use every friend. now question arise that some, few, a little and all are all act as a determiner or pronouns ?

    • @laurawolfe154

      It depends - it's relative.
"Few people know the password" = a small number of people know the password.
"A few people know the password" = a small number of people relative to a larger group know the password.
