My mom recently got those and they work so well!! Sure the smell is horrible but the fact that it really attracts the flies and keeps them trap inside is great!
This is what we use around our home. We hang it about 4ft from a large tree size bush about 25ft from our back door. Very impressed with how well it works. Within 3 days there are literally hundreds of flys caught. Easy to set-up. I use a razor blade to make the cut to pull out the center stem. Generally, we wait around 2 to 3 months before tossing it in a large slider ziplock bag. The stinkier it is the better it works. We bought ours at True Value for approximately $6.
@@ogj13 - The 1st one we ever had did last about 3 months. The last 2 about 1 to 1.5 months max. I guess it just depends if the water inside the bag doesn't completely evaporate. If the sun shines on it the water will evaporate rather quickly and you can expect a shorter life span. At least that's the experience I've had.
I'm looking at how good 3 different types of fly traps! This bag trap, a plastic dome trap (both from tractor supply) an home made coke bottle trap containing raw eggs an fish? Both store bought traps are working better than home made trap, but Dome trap has many more flies trapped than this Bag trap! So, for me, the best working is dome trap, then bag trap comes in 2nd, home made trap last! When I'm done with this bag trap I'm going to cut top plastic entrance part an fit it to canning jar threaded lid ring then use plastic part in reusable canning jag! Thanks, these videos have been helpful in choosing my teat traps! Another issue you bring up, Wal-Mart at around $4 is half of what I paid at tractor supply! So check pricing as well!
Your exactly right! I have 2 of these traps I bought 2 weeks ago. Their almost plum full of blow flies. That's not the kind of flies I was having trouble with. House flies is what I wanted them for
IAM so excited to go home and try mines out.they have been getting on my nerves.I bought 2.. I'll post a comment about my results... Thanks for sharing 💚
The only drawback on this product is that it does not only attract local flies but it also attracts flies from far distance, and that could fill up the back fast.
Works great, but when you need to seal it up and dispose of it, it falls short. Trying to snap that lid shut without getting the nasty on you isn't exactly easy. The black flag version screws shut instead of snapping. Way easier at disposal time.
These work really good, but the stench is awful, discarding is a challenge too, place in a large zip top baggie, and hope it doesn't leak in your trash bin...
If everyone will notice the flies you catch is 90 percent blow flies. There not so great for catching normal house flies. But they do work! I have trouble with house flies on the back porch every year. Fly bait spray works best for them.
Mine catches house flies with no problem. I usually empty mine into a small hole I dig after a week. Best to do this to keep the smell and eggs from the dead flies from hatching back into your yard.
Dont use it inside the house, unless you want the house to smell like an outhouse!😅 but working on other insects, I'm not sure. All mine catches are flies.
The slits at the top are large enough for them to go through but once inside the plastic cuts off the large slits and the smaller slits are impossible for them to go through

I have used them before and they are totally amazing!!!
This WORKS like a charm every summer flies come in I bought this one and the raid bag and it works

Get this one keep it like 30 feet away fr.front door I have like 20000 flys at least
Just brought 1 & the bad is half way full.. definitely works
This really does work, but it smells so horrible, and I think it attracts flies from miles away, not just around your house, or yard.
I came here to see if anyone els complained about this. This is so true!!!
Your exactly right! I have 2 of these traps I bought 2 weeks ago. Their almost plum full of blow flies. That's not the kind of flies I was having trouble with. House flies is what I wanted them for
I love this fly catcher, I have both the bottle and the disposable. Both really work great!

great, let me know it went!
How’d it work
Swear by these things. They are AWESOME!!!
best fly trap ever... great product I paid $5. I see myself replacing it once a week. Please bring the price down a bit so I can buy this all season.
I’ve seen refills are 2$ at Home Depot
Great product just set it up. Crazy results.
These are the best I’ve found
I've not used this brand but the raid fly trap like this works great! Same concept
I'm thinking to take the chemical bag out and put it in a larger jug with the water to get more instead of hanging🤔🤔
Never tried it before...let me know how it turned out.
@@krush_it6650 he died
Trust it will smell so bad in water

Lol definitely true.
Yes , mine fills up quickly
So, it attracts flies that wouldn’t even think of fellowshipping until they smell that.? Lol
2blessed 2bestressed
Yes, mine work so well , I’ve even had turkey vultures lurking around 😆
Pork Eating Crusader ... 😂🤣
Thank you. My fly trapper is killing the flies around the bag -falling on the floor.
What kind of fly zapper do you have?
@@raveztaylor The rescue fly trap. I think i purchased it from home depot. It's been a while now.
These are the BEST !!!
If u have alot of flies like at a barn might need several of these

Nice flies been wild lately lol time to catch them 😂
They now have a plastic bottle & it’s much easier & not as messy.
I’ve got to get a couple of those 😁
These work really good, but the stench is awful, discarding is a challenge too, place in a large zip top baggie, and hope it doesn't leak in your trash bin...
The flies in my backyard comes out when I’m smoking and attacks me so yea this get back time
Exactly!!!

This thing works warning keep it like 30 feet away from house door lol
Mine has so many I actually feel bad lol
does it work on gnats/fruit flys, and can you use it inside?
Dont use it inside the house, unless you want the house to smell like an outhouse!😅 but working on other insects, I'm not sure. All mine catches are flies.
Can I use this indoor?
Big No No!...atleast 25 ft. away from the house.
@@krush_it6650 ok thank you
Wish we could get then easily in the uk
😲 woa!
Am I the only one that heard him pass gas at 2:35
what prevents the fly from escaping the trap?
The funnel shape, and I assume the fluid itself probably makes it thick enough for them to be unable to move.
The slits at the top are large enough for them to go through but once inside the plastic cuts off the large slits and the smaller slits are impossible for them to go through
I dropped mine and it burst...any tips on getting rid of the stench?
Not good. Be carefull!
Use Clorox and odor eliminate spray. PINAL OR FABULOSO SHOULD WORK PRETTY GOOD.
Does it catch mosquito 🦟
Forbidden pinata.
I bought 2 one only worked
Where to get these traps?
Walmart is the cheapest for them. They will be in the garden section.
Thank you, will surely go there, to purchase these. Thanks again
Can you use it inside the house ?
I dont think you wanna do that! 🤣
@@krush_it6650 Im doing it now lol.
@@johndoe3788 Idiot lol
So they die because they are trapped or the chemicals in the bag?
Both
Both lol they can’t get out and because of the chemicals both work together
No, even though it smells like it would kill you the attractant is non toxic. They get trapped inside the bag and eventually drown in the water.
Do it work for bees
No but you can get something similar I think they are called wasp traps
Don't kill bees. They are harmless. Unless they are hornets. Kill all those you can
Can we use it inside
I wouldn't recommend it. It stinks and its will attract others that are not even inside.
The u so much im going get one now
They do work but, the smell is horrible 😣
Pinata!
Please Don't!!!🤣🤣🤣
Mine didn't work so well....😳
Operator error?
nice sharing . i make u a friend . so u will come my home
It does smell absolutely disgusting thou 😝
Got 2 and they smell bad, BAD. I have them in the back of my back yard. If it’s breezy I can smell pure shit as I’m going in or out of my back door
yo this shit right here is the Best caught 50 flys in 3mins seems like
18 flys don't like this video
Worst idea ever, all they do is attract more and more flies to your yard and home. Horrible idea. Not only that they smell horrible!
I couldn’t agree more. I instantly noticed the amount of flies increased, and we have to keep the house windows shut because the bag smells so awful.
It works for us lol the fist few days there where more flies but after that their basically all gone, we did put it far away from our house tho
