This is wonderful and funny, here we have two theories. First at 0:51 Jonny is like "Deal with it, you're out of tune, let's start this" and then we see Thom in 2:54 like "Yeah guys, we did it now" and the second is that at 0:45 Jonny played the harmonica and Thom is like "What was that?" and in 2:54 Jonny plays leaves the harmonica and Thom is like "Yeah, this time you did it". Or both we don't know lol

I meant specifically Thom though, there are a few songs that I like the 2012 performance more, like Idioteque.
He has been a very good singer since ever! The fact is that he does not give a fuck about it... He chooses to have fun and dance rather than concentrate about singing in tune.
I think they might be humans. I’m glad about that. My music teacher always said the mistakes are as beautiful as the intended notes. What an incredible song, band and performance. Thank god or whatever, thank you for radiohead. It’s genuine.

thom is a genious but he has a problem, when he starts false he cant't come back in the melody
His partner just died (the mother of his children) and he went into a very dark place.
Thom is still able to sing, but he just does it when he wants, as in this second performance, which is completely amazing.

Well, Jonny's ondes martenot may not have had a good start, but Thom was a bit off too, if you want to be technical. So, if stopping and starting was offensive to some, too bad, because the outcome was beautiful !! I don't think Thom was an ass to Jonny, He may have given him a look, but he wasn't a prick and wound up making a joke about it. I think Jonny was more embarrassed than anything. But the is just my take.
you also gotta realize they would have had to stop any way Johnny had to change the keyboard so its not like Thom was being an ass or anything... it was ll just good banter. They've been playing for years now 1 screw up Is okay and honestly they dont care they just wanna play music.

Yeah point taken, i guess i dont want to be reminded of the shit i / we went through when we were young by guys that are older and in many ways are not moving on. This music helped at times and i hope new generations get something from it but i dont see they are at their best here live but the albums speak for themselves. The only track i ever really liked was Creep but generally their music depressed me and i avoided them like the plague. I meant no offence to the fans but i guess i did. Sorry guys
