yep, just popped up on my feed today. i used to do this at open mics back in the late 90s early 2000s when it was still only an OKC bootleg. it's about time, fucking youtube.
Radiohead is mainly around the lines of Alternative. they play far beyond the norms of a traditional rock, electronic, and orchestra music, and that's what makes them so great. whereas bands like Maroon 5 and Coldplay never matured and hopped around dated music trends (that led them to being sell-outs), Radiohead, like Pink Floyd and The Beatles, dared to experiment and emboldened themselves that record labels would say, "career suicide." and the result is a diverse catalogue of music that for starters, is an acquired taste, but by going down the rabbit hole grants you the keys to a different road to music that far exceeds you expectations, it's rewarding, and that's the beauty of Radiohead, going far and beyond.
I watched one Radiohead cover 3 weeks ago while drunk, and now I am in a Radiohead cover YT hole and this just appeared. One of the best so far, even though 6 years ago or more. Very nice. Nice that you got Moby to sing it.
Thom has educated us all...... I have not missed anything about radiohead from their beginnings....and they were always fair to us.....their music always helped and healed my depressions..... if we all look in the mirror while listening to radiohead what place could we live on?..👥
Hats off to the arranger of this. I mean bra-frikkin-vo. They brought such an intimate understanding of this song to this. Did this group ever get into the studio to record this? Amazing.
My gosh every once and a while you stumble upon beauty. To the kids who uploaded this 6 years ago, God bless you and your talent. Hope it worked out for you all.
7 years after the fact saying this but WOW, amazing cover, your voices are beautiful, I hope you alll kept singing `nd that at least some of you went on to have careers because DAMN.
It's a testament to the power of the songwriting (and to my connection to this song) that I welled up listening to this. I don't often do that with covers. Nicely done!
Radiohead is my favorite artist, and Nude is my favorite song of theirs. AMAZING job on this, this was absolutely amazing. It made all the feels from the original song activate while listening to this.
RUclips waited 6 years to recommend me this. The algorithm is broken.
It always has been
Indeed
Or it was but now it's fixed?

@@ianhemingway5687 Here I am thanks to the algorithm
how the hell did Thom and co write these chords / melodies. It's so far beyond rock music.
@Nostalgia for Infinity yeah, they just share the instruments with rock (even then not always) so they give the first impression that it's maybe rock.

@@PlanetXerox couldn't have said it better. Those bands especially are like that.
Listen to Jonny greenwoods Paul thomas anderson film scores and see some of the interesting music he comes up with.
Jonny probably has a huge part, he's always leaned towards orchestral stuff
The blonde girl at the right, singing soprano ranges, you are a dream, you steal the show!
Glad that I am not the only one to feel that.
wow this is beautiful! someone make thom yorke see this
Chills, I love how the one singing the lead has such a fitting voice for the song, and the whole atmosphere, wow
The legend says the Ondes Martenot was inspired in that woman´s singing voice. 1:16
Even Johnny Greenwood is getting goosebumps.
1:16 her voice here is amazing
I wish the whole band saw this
Hope x
That intro is heaven

Hey my friend, I hope you're now a fan of Radiohead.
Holy shit wow where are the rest eight billion views?? and like, how does one even produce a sound that high
Practice and training goes a long way
this is the best radiohead cover on youtube. and that comes from person who thinks that 98% of radiohead covers on youtube suck.
goddamn, they even re-create the reversed intro, this should getting over million views!
great job, guys
Arranger didn’t know it was reversed, spent 90% of arranging time on that section 😅
1:40 the girl goes even higher in that note, she is fantastic !
You should record this in the studio. This is a great interpretation. The beginning was especially haunting.
Damn I'm at the ceiling now levitating
never before have i seen such an underappreciated video.
Thom has educated us all...... I have not missed anything about radiohead from their beginnings....and they were always fair to us.....their music always helped and healed my depressions..... if we all look in the mirror while listening to radiohead what place could we live on?..👥

I'm sitting in a mall food court. Fairly certain I'm going to cry
Crying in the parking lot. Holy hell, this was incredible.
wow sounds surprisingly good for a random stairwell, didn't expect much but that was really cool / well done / well sung
Fun fact: The drumming in Led Zeppelin's When the Levee Breaks was recorded on a staircase, a song which is very famous for its drum intro.
This needs more views this was awesome
This is phenomenal!!! This is probably one of the best Radiohead covers I have ever heard.
Netflix intro at 0:04
my god this is awesome, but this also shows how ridiculously talented and brilliant radiohead are.
It took 7 years for me to stumble upon this. Boy it was every unawarely awaited second worth!

This is incredible! You guys need a nice omnidirectional microphone! You sound too good for the audio quality not to match 🔥🔥🔥
Hats off to the arranger of this. I mean bra-frikkin-vo. They brought such an intimate understanding of this song to this. Did this group ever get into the studio to record this? Amazing.
I like the echoes and the sound dancing in my ears and down the stairs

This is absolutly phenomenal, the power of all those voices together in such perfect harmony really is something magical
Omg. I got chills
Holy shit. When that theremin sound came in… that was incredible
It's an Ondes Martenot, but does sound like a theremin
Kudos to the person who spent 6 years arranging this rendition. Well done crew!
I'm back, 10 months after discovering this. Currently tearing up to this performance.

Exactly. I could have used this version the last few years.
Damn.. I had goosebumps on the crescendo. Beautiful...
It's a testament to the power of the songwriting (and to my connection to this song) that I welled up listening to this. I don't often do that with covers. Nicely done!
You nailed it

Radiohead is my favorite artist, and Nude is my favorite song of theirs. AMAZING job on this, this was absolutely amazing. It made all the feels from the original song activate while listening to this.

Im not crying, you are crying
this is MAJESTIC!!
i just realized that thom yorke can replace 12 person
A yes, I like it when Thom sings the melody along with the harmonies, bass line and percussion live!
@@joshuk8112 Everybody knows that Phil, Jonny, Ed and Colin are extensions of thom’s body, like in the movie of the thing
LOL
The bass doing the full octave jumps like that is so hard
holy shit this is so amazing thank you for making this video cant stop watching this
Dammmn goosebumps everywhere. Amazing
Good Christ. I thought Thom was there with them! Spot on wonderful people!

Demasiado hermoso el trabajo vocal y una de mis canciones favoritas. Muchas gracias.
I love when the one hits the high lasting note and the chick beside her gives the the look of “oh fuck we’re going for it”
I'm not a simple man if such underrated video could make me cries a lot
This should have blown up already.
This is actually a great choice for an acapella performance. Nicely done.

RUclips is full of surprises but why did it take 6 years to show me that, come on algorithm do your job right!
INCROYABLE.
