V has written many songs the fact he chose to select songs given to him for Layover has more to do with the pressure of going last and the success of his fellow BTS members, particularly JK who also chose to select songs by others. When you think about it it shows a humbleness that is endearing. RM was surprised V was not using any of the many songs he knew V had created over the years. V said he wanted a cohesive album. One that he would enjoy to listen to himself. It is clear the songs were also well within his comfortable vocal range. He would be able to perform solo without his brothers presence to sooth his nerves. We have seen the quality of Vs and JKs writting on past songs. Unlike Elvis who actually wrote very few of his own songs all the BTS members have been actively participating. That a song presented to V had elements from someone else would not have been picked up if it was different enough to fool the algorithm they use for that. So Like Ed Sheerans recent controversy I am shure this is another media storm in a tea cup. Meanwhile its easy enough for Big Hit to contact the artists concerned. If you look at Big Hit credits they have no problem listing multiple credits on records. If it is genuine I am sure the origional artist will understand their position .
