People need to start wrapping their minds around true age. With so many people living to be 100+ (estimated by the UN at 573,000 this year), middle age does not even begin until 50. Also, with the Asian people being blessed with youthful skin much longer than the rest of the world, stop worrying about the age of the individual and just enjoy the amazing being in front of you and the joy they bring to you. I understand that honorifics are important to the Asian community, but instead of struggling with it, just ask Jin how he would like to be addressed. An honorific is not respectful if the person being addressed is made to feel uncomfortable by it.
