I got the notification for the video and I was like "Do I want to spend more money right now? Don't do it... don't look unless you want to drop the cash. DON'T LOOK!" Here I am. Take my money. Hurry up.
Sounds incredible, but I still don't get that round "controller" - having all other controllers visible as bars would be so much better, even when mapped to CC. They could be smaller or what to differentiate them, but now there is no visible feedback for hidden parameters at all. I can switch plugin UI off in Reaper to see raw sliders, but that seems silly to be able to see what I change. (This applies to Labs too, obviously.)
Fully agree, the FX controller is a big UX failure... it is “function follows form”, design before usability. To select an fx type, you habe to first click on the circle button, only then can you see the parameter list, have to search for the entry you want and have to click again. And then the buttons vanish immediately if you change the dial and you have to do the whole process again if you want to change another value. A whole lot of mouse clicks and movement for something that could be easily achieved if everything was visible all the time. It’s not if there isn’t enough space. Mind bogglingly stupid.
This can easily be fixed by yk, mapping each fx parameter to a fader or knob on a midi controller. If you are buying this product and many others, you can also buy a midi controller like the Korg NanoKontrol 2 for like £40, so just more than the plug-in.
This might be my favorite spitfire library of any so far. One thing I would like to say though is, when you make walkthroughs, it would be helpful to demo the sounds completely dry. Not all of us like to put reverb on EVERYTHING. It would be very helpful to be able to here the sounds with no reverb at all.
12:54 sounds very mich like sounds I made 25 years ago by scanning a DAT tape backwards and recording it into Pro Tools, looping sections with EQ'd feedback loops.
Thanks for another really good review. I listened to this review several times and I have purchased. the instrument. I’m impressed with the range and expression of many of the patches ...I haven’t normally used this type of palette before , however the patches are sonically stunning and the pads are very appealing....”Machine drift “ is biblically good and worthy of the purchase price alone in its own right IMHO 👏👏👏👍🎩🙏
Holy guacamole. 😱 I just downloaded and started to play. No, quite literally... play! I think this is the most fun I've ever had with the music library! 👏😃 Bravo to Hainbach & Spitfire!!! Very very very very cooooool.
What the hell. Only an hour ago I looked at the release of the pianobook #32 (another creation of Henson) and thought about how gorgeous it would be to see a collaboration with Hainbach. Congrats to spitfire audio with excellent instinct and Hainbach on the project.
@@hereiskinder Hi, thank you very much for offering. I have this product and am enjoying it and don't have any questions. However I have noticed that Spitfire get a lot of product related questions on their RUclips channel and almost never reply. That is of course up to them, but I wouldn't include a segment in a video inviting questions when there is no intent to answer them.
i simply love that, its so pure expression, not glanzing into any common style, just pure expression. And i love how your whole body expression melts into the rhythm you produce!
underground? youtube underground....lol...there hasn't been underground since the late 90s....electronic sound designing has been around since 20-30s in niche circles... theatrical sound designing, experimental exhibitions etc....
I love love love Hainbach... and this sounds great... but... doesn’t it seem a bit off to be shipping 1500 (non-optional) cassettes out for a library called “Landfill Totems”? Besides that I’m very excited about this collaboration!
Wow, spectacular product and sounds. Homay, as usual, is Spitfire's best demonstrator; her use cases around certain instruments, such as celli and violins are so incredibly inspiring. Just purchased and stoked to put this gem into use.
Awesome video as always Homay , you always explain things so well, and make everything sound wonderful. Not seen so many videos from you lately, hope you are ok. Take care look forward to your next video, be safe and healthy, best wishes Terry
PS does say on the Spitfire site:- "Mac OSX 10.10 - Mac OS 11 Minimum: 2.8GHz i5 minimum (quad-core), 8GB RAM. Recommended: 2.8GHz I7 (six-core), 16GB RAM. Intel based Apple Computers and *Apple Silicon / ARM are supported Machine must be connected to the internet during install* "

Somebody is going to be “very excited” to present this new library.
hey, better to listen to this fried pink noise, than to the new 're-recorded' Taylor Swift 🤐 life has choices
Oooh! A Hainbach and Spitfire collaboration? Yes PLEASE! This has so much potential to add texture to so many kinds of productions!

100% -- Multi-modal radial UX is usually a usability fail. Spitfire is aiming for aesthetic at the expense of usability.
Yeah, I really wish all the parameters were sliders as well, would be so much easier.

Agreed, its crazy to use all that space when we could have all the controls at our fingertips. Its so many more clicks overall.
What a dream! Homay reviewing a Hainbach sample instruments. This is the best thing ever!
Hainbach is an inspiration, awesome job Spitfire

@@citizenworld8094 , I've yet to be disappointed with anything from Spitfire. If I had a scifi or paranormal show to score, I'd snap it up.
You should package those things up and make something cool .
OH YES. HAINBACH.
This has so much potential!
Sign me tf up!!!! Been waiting for a good set of rich synths! SA is the best!!! BUYING NOW!!!!

Good to have Homay to pronounce those preset categories
Wow, Thank you, Homay, for another great presentation! Cool library, Hainbach and SpitfireAudio!
Very, very excited about this. Two of my fave music things smushed into one package? TAKE MY MONEY!
Love you From Iran ❤🇮🇷
It would be wonderful to have a Hainbach Evo Grid... but who on Earth is that lucky these days?

Brilliant collaboration, instant buy for me.
You're my idol Homay! I hope someday we get to work together!! Working in Spitfire would be a dream come true!
Yo what a collaboration!!!
Man this library sounds amazing.
17:46 ‘if you have any questions you can put them below’ - where Spitfire won't answer them. Great library tho - love Hainbach :)
Feel free to ask any product related questions! I'll do my best to answer them :)

Alright I’m gonna buy two plug-ins and then this to go with them
just bought. amazing!
Any plans for an AUv3 version for us iOS nerds?
Anyone know what make the black midi controller with the faders being used is?

You didn't say, "good to have you back"! D:
This was an instant buy even before I heard this demo, but you have presented it wonderfully here! Thanks!
Colab with Hainbach - stroke of genius Spitfire!
Just bought it!
lovely ...
WOW! What was the strings instrument at 7:58? 🔥
Man, now i gotta drag my computer to room with the modem and purchase this.
What’s the model of the mixer you’re using?
What are the violin patches at 7:58? (Which library?)
Killer!
really interesting sounds, gg all
Will there come a Kontakt version?
AWESOME
should be worth the money
Excellent Homay. Pls educate indian singers , i mailed 2 UR co.
Hello, why is there no breath sound? Are you not breathing?
Will this work with the M1? I just bought a handful of libraries last night and they don't work with the M1.
Might be a help if you tell us what libraries you are having trouble with?

Yes it will :)
I thought you were asking about the korg m1, that would be awesome.
What I want to know is where I can find that Pop Filter for EV RE20 ! Anybody got any leads? Thx
this one is the RoXdon HPF-2 Pop Filter
Homay has sold more products for Spitfire Audio from her demos. LOL. 🙌🏾
Bach had knee levers on his harpsichord to invoke experimental textural modifications. Spitfire has some tiny finger sliders propped on a desk.
Are Loops synchronizables or is it frozen ?
They are mapped to your DAW bpm so will change depending on your project
@@hereiskinder Ah, many thanks _
Somebody stop me it's already in my cart oh no help
Music to my 'ears'............................ 😜✨
I'm sad because I don't know who/what Hainbach is...
Look him up on RUclips. He is "The Bob Ross of Electronic Music"

Curious, is a new spitfire plugin? Or the release of Hainbachs new album

I need a Synth vst and an Ethnic Library from Spitfire...
Spellbinding.

This is so bizarre. What am I not getting about this library? Can someone mention your use for this?

Scifi on a stick
Homay 😍
There's a lot of hiss on these, especially the pads, which is a shame.
Homay is the only positive Element in this depressed presentation 🤷♂️
Hainbach is totally overrated 🙈
as you are
