Let's be real here though. Homay actually does such ridiculously quality walkthroughs and videos. This person is a dope composer and possesses great skills in presenting instruments of such diverse styles it's awesome.
I try to ignore Homay for this very reason. Listening to her play, unfortunately, puts me in "buy this now" mode. She is just so good at playing and composition, and just puts you at ease about whether or not this library is for you (of course it is). Cheers, and glad to see I'm not the only one that has bought almost solely on Homay's presentation. She is awesome.
You seriously need to have a loyalty card going, like when you buy coffee and after 5 you get a free one. I'd be having heart palpitations by the amount of Coffee's I've had from you guys.
Truly a special tool for emotive passages, I just ordered Heirloom and the goosebumps are revived! Homay as always continues to be such an inspiration - Thanks so much / Best from Pennsylvania
Great Video Homay as always, sounds like a really good library, add this to my list. Thank you so much, look for to more of your wonderful videos. Take care best wishes Terry
Homay is a 'weapon of mass destruction' towards my wallet (smiles). Thanks Spitfire, another OUTSTANDING walkthrough by Homay, as usual. I JUST purchased this library. Can't wait to get into my emotionally inspired tracks employed by HEIRLOOM. Hopefully, I'll come back and leave a link with the results.
This is an intimate thing…a kind of way to maybe capture beauty in our past …that’s certainly how the library works for me …a reverence .. an inspiration ..with a tiny bit of melancholic inference .. that reference which is what maybe in part of what makes us human ..I miss my dad xx
When I first saw the email for this I heard the short samples and wasn't quite sold on it. Turns out to be completely different than I ever expected! Might be my next Spitfire purchase for sure.
LOL 😂Last week, I included a Parody segment in my video about a hypothetical Spitfire Audio new promotional spot. It was emotional and involved crying men. I had no idea how close I was. Emotional indeed !! Bravo
Beautifully done. The power of detail and less. Polyphonic legato, or at least legato, for the strings would make this great small library even more human.

I absolutely love Heirloom so far, but for some reason the reverb section at the top of the plugin is not available for me. Has anyone else experienced this issue? Otherwise, Heirloom is one of my favourite Spitfire libraries that I own.
Love spitfire and have huge respect for them, own quite a few of their libraries.. I have to say though, all these new ones are starting to sound the same. (Is it just me?) They don't add anything unique to the libraries they've already put out, in my honest opinion. Would love to see them take more risks this year, putting out more unique sounds...
Just a remark: Flautando esp. gets its effect from a fast bow movement on the strings. It is such a little counter productive to use it with long notes and ignore rebowing when just using slow played passages with long notes. Go to a string instrument player and compare flautando with different speeds and you will know what I mean.
Wonderful library, marvellous Homay. I am somehow irritated that very few comments address the fact that many if not all of the sounds in there can be replicated with common (even free) sound libraries, a little EQ and some Valhalla. 299? No way, Mr. Henson.
Current Spitfire libraries are AU/VST plugins or the older ones are run through the Native Instruments Kontact player (purchased). Logic , Ableton etc compliant.

Yesss Queen Homay will be in the live chat, say hi!
@@spitfireaudiollp Agreed, Homay is wonderful!
The music she play in the video should be combined as a demo
I think I bought every liabrary Homay had walked us through!

At the very least give us little guys living paycheck to paycheck a subscription service 😫
@@JohnsysChannel I think we'd worked that out!
😂 very well said. These coffees are really adding up.
Well said, and I agree. :) Spitfire is my Dealer. I either need an intervention or a loyalty card.

The piano sounds gorgeous. 🔥
I had the honor of meeting Homay @ Namm yesterday, it was a really cool experience!
Great Video Homay as always, sounds like a really good library, add this to my list. Thank you so much, look for to more of your wonderful videos. Take care best wishes Terry
Wonderful, we want more of this kind of intimate sounds ! It would be wonderful to have saxophone sounds from spitfire, for example ! 😉
I came here from the Tape Synths demo and I really like the sound of this library. Adding it to my list.
Homay Infinite. Salute from Tenerife Island xxx

This sounds extraordinarily human! The nuance you can achieve is astounding.
Those “Brushed” string shorts sound great
This library sounds so emotive and that piano omg 😢
This is exactly the kind of library i feel is designed for what I love to create. Thank you
Great Video as always Homay, you always explain things so well. You're a real inspiration thank you so much. Take care be safe, best wishes Terry
You made it again! You sold it again! What a subtle and delicate liabrary! What a wonderful and sympathetic presentation!

Homay you have done it again.......pressed the buy now button after 5 minutes of watching your walkthrough......
Lovely strings. Legato for the reeds as well might have sold it for me.
Keaton Henson's music is amazingly intimate. Sounds like another great library by Spitfire Audio!
Oh no... i feel this one
This is really cool. More saxes in the future please Spitfire! Maybe as part of the abbey road stuff as an expansion?
Abbey Road - The Complete Brass Pack ;-)
This one reminds me a lot of Whisper by Orchestral Tools. Such lovely soft and cozy sounds :)
The low legato strings sounded amazing 😊 🙏
When I first saw the email for this I heard the short samples and wasn't quite sold on it. Turns out to be completely different than I ever expected! Might be my next Spitfire purchase for sure.
That piano is lovely! Great vibe!
Am so happy it's Kontakt-less. Keep it up Spitfire.
Awesome! Homay 🙌🏼
Homay's explanations are clear and show she has nothing to prove. Her presentations always move me closer to purchase. Thanks Homay!
I was unware there's 3 Hensons and they all 3 are brilliant composers, incredible !!
Great presentation. Short notes ‘Brushed’ low strings and woodwinds were the standouts for me.
Wow, the piano is just gorgeous!
Been waiting for a library like this. Reminds me of Notes With Attachments.

You are a gem of a musician, my friend! 💎 I don't know your name but it deserves to be known by many.
Another great video Homay ! thank you so much for all your hard work :)

Such a great walkthrough.Thinking Solo Strings would work well with this.
Cannot wait, thanks 👌
Excellent composer Homay. Pls compose your latest Tunes to Indian Movies Bollywood, south Indian Movies.
Such thorough, informative insight into this impressive library. Presented in relaxing, capable style, so easy to follow; beginning to end.
Simply inspiring, thank you!

@spitfireaudio what was the piano they used to make heirlooms piano?
Love this

normal plugin insert in Apple MainStage?
Piano sounds good. A little firewood-y
I recognise the movement at 2.25 - put can't pin it down. Anyone know where it's from, possibly a soundtrack?
Great!

Great walkthrough, Homay! When are you going to come out with your own music library?
@@BobGuido Yes, I have that library already. But she should really have her own library like OPW and Alev Lenz.
Those winds are calling me!
Brilliant library presented by a brilliant composer.
Keaton Henson is Paul Henson's brother (Spitfire founder)
Can I use I pad with logic remote for di this?
What controller is used here for the expression? Does someone know?

Sounds great! How many dynamics layers does the piano have?
I got it... and i really wish there was shorter notes + improved legatos 😢 but it's lovely
This is giving me Martin Phipps’ score for the crown vibes
It was a very emotional time for Buttercup.

11:33 Sort of sounds like a softer version of the intro to the Mute City theme in the original SNES F-Zero game.
Showing my age here, but I'm getting Michael Nyman and Penguin Cafe Orchestra

What kind of keyboard is she using and my second noob question, are these plugins for Logic or what is the workflow?
