Artist here. You can try to get the closest possible to the in-game color but you will never have the exact color in real life for a simple reason. Color theory is different in real life than in digital media. We use RGB (additive color theory) in digital media and CMYK (substractive color theory) in real life, which does not translate colors exactly from one to the other. I could go on and on for hours explaining stuff but this should help you understand why you'll never get the same colors in real life. That being said, there seems to be an intention to mimic chrome (or metal) in-game, but it didn't work quite right, so it looks like the closest they could do is slightly light gray, close to white.
@@zandercatznadercat6876Amateur artist and propmaker here and I've heard this said a lot and it's mostly just offputting, honestly. It's of course an approximation but the emphasis on impossibility is usually just discouraging, at least for me. Appreciate the attempt though!
I'm gonna be completely honest, the official version is more accurate. The slightly reflective silver resembles the in game character more than the complete chrome.

I know you probably won’t keep it but try a solid stud in that newer reddish-orange color for the eye. True it’s not transparent but I think it matches the color better.
There are two versions of Trans neon orange, the older(think ice planet) is the more opaque and the updated color(think nexo knights) is a little more transparent and muted. Which one did you use on your figure?
@@thedarkcod4824 I understand where you’re coming from and I respect your opinion, but no matter what you do it’s gonna be “the wrong color” and it is a fact that he isn’t white. He’s also not white in the movies so I just don’t understand why you would want it to be white.
@@imperial_brickz the reason I think he should be white is that, after punching some numbers, the relative luminosity of Jango’s color is closer to white than light pearl gray. Beyond that, when I was young I always assumed he was white in game, so seeing the real minifig in another color feels a bit jarring. But considering neither are entirely accurate, it does come down to preference, and there is fair reasoning to go each way. With this being your collection, whatever you think looks better is 100% the one you should go for
I always thought IG-88 was white in-game, but now that I'm paying close attention he is in fact chrome

revenge of the sith obiwan so i can find out what color his legs are
