Beggars Arkive is excited to announce that all of our artists that appeared on Top of The Pops will be available on our Arkive Channel. Sourced straight from the BBC Arkive - Top of the Pops was the UK's longest music television programme.
New videos will be published at 7 PM [GMT] on Thursdays.
The performances range from the very first Beggars signing The Lurkers in 1978, to a performance by Adele in 2008, plus everything in between, including Gary Numan, The White Stripes, The Cult, Bauhaus, The Strokes and many more. The footage is broadcast quality and has been transferred directly from the BBC archives.

Mark and lard had an album out with parodies of songs of the year like BabyBird and this. Awesome album had me in stiches😂😂😂😂worth a watch for fun

Nah tim has a seamless natural coy boy charm and intellect that king monkey could only dream of . Though both have the same time and place of conception the Charlie's have been in the game longer than the roses for a reason.
The Oasis clone 90's
They came out before Oasis. Their first album is from 90 while Oasis´s debut is from 94. What a silly ignorant person !

Infinitely superior, so pretty, I lost my heart over and over, and they were bloody well brought up to, I remember them bring utterly charming to my naiive, vulnerable teen self when in imminent danger of being mashed by big boys in the mosh pit...could have been nasty for a little twiglet goth girl, but they were utterly charming. I still treasure their records. Sigh. If only my mum had let me run off with the band...she wouldn't have it though...
