Released exclusively in arcades in 1998 by Midway Games, CarnEvil is a 1 to 2 player co-op light gun horror game. The player is challenged to navigate through the creepy carnival, filled with clowns, zombies, evil elves, food workers, and other horror-themed monstrosities in hopes of escaping. The game opens with a choice of 3 stages and beating them unlocks a the fourth and final stage, the carnival itself.
One of the bosses in the game is a giant baby, but if that's too distasteful for you, you can change it in the settings to be a giant evil teddy bear.

I never saw this as a kid, but I discovered it a few years ago at an arcade. Sadly it's been replaced by another horror game.
The local pizza place I used to go to with my parents as a little kid (about 5 or 6) had this game. I was always too scared to play it, so I would hide underneath one of the nearby tables and watch other people play. I completely forgot it existed, but your video brought back so many good memories 😂 wonder what the odds are of that same pizza joint still having it
I've had so many people tell me similar stories under my review of this game though for me, despite frequenting arcades as a kid I never saw this game until I was an adult.
I played this so fuckin much growing up, spent so much well good money enjoying this beautiful classic!
I never ran into this game until I was an adult. All my quarters went to TMNT, Simpsons, and Xmen.
It's rather annoying, how every arcade shooter game only gives you six shots before you have to reload. Not every handgun on Earth is a revolver!

I was so scared to play this as a kid idk why I would want to keep playing it I would run passed it at the Peter pipers I would go to lol
