- When I went to Disneyland last month I checked out the Disneyland Railroad which is be refurbished with a new track for the new Star Wars Land!
You can’t ride the train but you can take a tour of the train station and the train itself!
I checked out the old New Orleans train depot and talked to some of the cast members about the new Star Wars land train route and the history of the the Disneyland's trains!
Engineer Remy gives a lesson about the trains and Star Wars land and about himself!
I want you to know how special the Disneyland Railroad cast member are and thank them for there helpful information - you are all awesome!
I do miss going on the train rides and seeing the sights and the dinosaurs at the end.
Reopening this Summer. Alongside with Fantasmic and Rivers of America including Tom Sawyer's Island.

It's almost shocking to me that people don't know what's going on.....I guess it shouldn't be.
Yes, the freight train on the other track was the Frontierland Train, and only stopped there, as I recall. I think you can find that info on the SecretsOfDisneyland channel.
The telegraph is actually tapping out Walt's speech in a precursor to Morse code.
Ward Kimball was one of Walt's original "Nine Old Men" and he did, indeed draw Jiminy Cricket. Walt gave him that character to draw because in Snow White, Walt cut his soup eating scene............so he kind of wanted to make it up to him.
I was almost related to Ward through double marriage. My last girlfriend's mother was related to Betty Kimball, Ward's wife, who was in animation coloration herself in those early years....that's how they met. So, if I would have married my girlfriend...well, you get the picture. Alas...it wasn't meant to be.
Once again...Castmembers are the best...and Remy was fantastic! I could talk to him all day!
I also have an antique engineer's watch....I had a great grandfather or great uncle who was in the RR business.
Great video, Eric....loved it! You should share it to FBD...I'm sure David wouldn't mind; there are some details about the future of the train that they would be interested in and he'd get a kick that Remy watches his videos.
