    Omg this is amazing!! I love jumping spiders. I have a fear of spiders, and a few years ago, I ended up falling in love with jumping spiders and started keeping them as a pet. I can't wait to see more content on them. Enclosure turned out amazing 🖤🖤

    I would totally watch a 'how to care for a jumping spider' video. I see them around my house but didn't know the first thing about them.

    Wow. That's really interesting! I never thought of a pet spider before! How do you feed them? I know it might sound stupid but I would love to show the kids these spiders. Lol. Thanks for sharing 🕷🕷🕷❤🖤🖤

      @MakenzieHallie  2 месяца назад

      No no not stupid at all Josie! So I will hand feed em sometimes, tong feed when it's safe and just drop one nearby others. Usually mealworms, flightless fruit flies and the list goes on!

    I use to hate spiders, thought they were gross, you know the whole nine yards, until I ran across a documentary about spiders and the webs they build. While watching this, I started feeling bad for thinking they were so creepy, cause all they want to do is build their webs and raise their babies like everybody else. I was amazed at the different style of webs that different species make. So now I'm training myself not to jump to smash them right away. Ive put a bunch bricks in the back of my yard so they can build their homes there. Your jumping spider is so cute, and I love its new home 🕷️

      @@lornanorris1363 totally understand. I have an issue with stink bugs for some reason. Stink bugs and any kind of house centipede. It's difficult to not just smash out of fear/reaction. I'm so glad your working through the spider fear. They didn't ask to be here like we didn't. Glad you could enjoy this video now and are making space for them in your yard! They will do you all the favors via nasty bug eating. 😂🤣
      Just something about a jumping spider face/eyes that makes me crack up. Such funny little things when they look you in the eye.

    Not so long ago had a black and white spider used to live outside the kitchen window. The poor thing had lost a leg somehow somewhere along the way and thats how we could recoginse her year in year out. Used to try and leave tiny scraps for her but not sure if it helped (sure hope it did tho)
    awesome video tho and thank you so much again🕸🖤🌕

      Aw that's awesome! I'm sure it absolutely helped. The spiders I see like that around my house I look forward to seeing just as much. So fun and fascinating to watch day by day.

    I am just learning about jumping spiders. They are so cute. The only spider I am not really fond of are the huge Wolf or Hobo spiders. AKA Blow Up spiders because they carry their babies on their backs and if bumped tiny babies explode everywhere. Winter time here I allowed a few spiders to live over winter inside. LOL I was hoping they might eat any bugs from my house plants. Not that I have many HP pests. My house is over full of house plants. some I have had same plant for 40 years.

      😂😂 good ol wolf spideys. I understand. And that's amazing!! If you had to pick a favorite plant, what is it?

    • @shadesofidaho
      @shadesofidaho 2 месяца назад +1

      @@MakenzieHallie Hummmm How does a person choose a favorite? If I had to do it all over I think I would keep to hoyas. Back in the 70's when I started into house plants I had never even heard of them. You can keep them smallish unlike mose philodendrons. I am also totally digging Rhipsalis. Then Philodendrons. Sanseverias, MY whale fin grew me a baby this year. I do not do plants that need high humidity because I live in what is considered high desert.
      For you I can see the dark Philos. McCauley Finale, Black Coral Bloody Mary. Even Roho Congo. And of course a ZZ Raven which is not a philo.
      I could talk your ears off about house plants animals and glass. LOL

    • @MakenzieHallie
      @MakenzieHallie  2 месяца назад

      Ohhh no no no your not getting off that easy. I didn't say what TYPE of plants....I said pick ONE. You only get to keep one single plant, what you picking? 😂🤣 Sneaky sneaky still in this hypothetical world trying to keep as many plants as possible.
      And same. Although hoyas as a whole are a plant I DO NOT like. Which is funny. & Yes, absolutely right love my philos and zz's. Although only have one singular zz at the moment technically. And absolutely with the colocasia. Right up my ally, but I do not have a black coral anymore. I had a massive elephant ear and I loved it to death. Quite literally. I think anyway. One of those scenarios where I'll just never know why it died or why I couldn't keep it happy. Up here we've got the high humidity, or in winters I can simulate it quite well/easily at least. One day I'll have a beautiful green house built off the side of my future kitchen or something .Year round perfect conditions. And FILLED TO THE BRIM. LOL
