Dear SNL- this stuff makes us love the live show even more. But we want more of this. Long form???? I woudl have watched a 30-min video about this number alone, watchign the process, seeing Eli's work during the number, the writing and rehearsal, etc.

The music director said it was Beyonce inspired? This had Madonna written all over it. The rap when she names SNL characters clearly from Vogue as were the French 18th century costumes. Again from Vogue. The music even sounded like Vogue. Don't get me wrong I love B, but give credit where credit is deserved.

Not a word about Madonna. I saw many references to the Queen of Pop, but her name was not mentioned. Madonna didn't invent the Vogue dance or the ballroom scene, but she was the one who made it international. Without her, all of this would still be underground.
