    recently had my first lesson and this is great half as revision and half just to see that my reactions were pretty normal lol, little bit of fear and wanting to take pictures constantly lol

    I'm planning on learning on flying with this instructor, he is amazing. David Young of Kemble Flying Club did an excellent job training him!

    Thanks for sharing, it's helping me to decide whether NPPL is the route to go. Yeah I know what you mean with everything being so expensive. May have to do the training over a period of 2 to 3 years to spread the cost. But great first lesson and insight! I've just turned 51 so it's now or never.

      Do it mate, you won't regret it. I can drive anything on the road, but flying is something I've always wanted to do... It's in our human nature to want to fly :)

      Hope you decided to do it mate. I've got , I think, it's my twelfth lesson tomorrow. Aged 65 now, 64 when I started, and I'm loving it.. You've got loads of time to enjoy doing this.

      No mate, lockdowns hit and I never continued afterwards :( maybe this year.... Just everything so expensive these days :(

      @@djequinoxb That's such a shame..I want to have a go..but it's a big financial and time commitment...probably about 6 grand.
      There's a school in Ince Blundel at £110 a lesson...but I assume you've moved away...so it'll be a lot dearer.

      I got priced around £4000 to complete NPPL... If you only plan on flying microlight, NPPL would be the cheaper option than PPL

    • @QuantatativeStealing
      @QuantatativeStealing Год назад

      @@djequinoxb yeah PPL is about 13-15000 roughly...far too much.

      Would be nice though :) nothing better than flying... Would love to be a full time pilot tbh
