I just thought of this now, I think Lego intently choice the Mustang and the BMW'S to flex their building skills.
The probably did! Especially the front end of both the mustang and the m4. They're so good!
Great video idea and I enjoyed the editing a lot. I am quite suprised because the Mustang looked a bit boring to me. Can't wait to pick them all up and complete my collection again.

6:55 the model is called mcl60 because it was McLaren's 60th year of their brand same reason for the 60 numbrings

1st place- m4 gt3: Acurate details and body line, new pieces (wheels), super cool techniques
2nd place- audi e-tron quattro: Super accurate, meh build experience
3rd place- Ford Mustang Dark Horse. good build experience because there are practically no stickers. But my man, the building techniques are nothing to scoff at. It's the defaultest car ever.
The only thing that the dark horse has going for itself is the building experience. No way it's first. Go look at m4 or e-tron and tell me how did the lego designers managed to come up with such build solutions.
The other ones, sure, I can agree on. Good video overall 8/10 asides from the final rating xD
btw, the thing that makes most of these builds unbearable, at least for the BMW lmdh is the absolute amount of stickers. If they had gone for printed pieces, the price would have been a lot higher though. And the replayability of the pieces would have been kind of ruined.
You could have rated the cars on real-life comparison, build experience, techniques, and then averaged it. The way you're doing it right now just looks biassed
@Shifteeer fair enough, I respect your opinion! I can assure you I am not biased in favour of mustangs. I was, by far, most excited about the Audi since it's such a unique and special car, but it wasn't really anything special to build imo.
I like your rating too! I agree, the M4 has the best build, but the stickers are rough. Even as a huge Speed Champions fan, that sticker sheet was too big lol

bought the S1 and waiting for it to arrive in the mail. to me it is the only one i really love from this line, but i do agree that the M4 and Darkhorse are pretty well made as well.

Here's my opinions on this wave the MCL 60 is excellent I just getting into F1 more, the Hoonitron is good but I just why they didn't delay it so it could be a tribute to Ken Block but it's a second, the Mustang Dark Horse is dissent but the techniques are cool, the BMW M4 GT3 I forgive the nose for being stubby cause if you extend the front by a stud there be complications and the M-Hybrid V8 it's another German LMDH car. So the ranking 1st MCL60, 2nd Hoonitron, 3rd Mustang Dark Horse and 4th and 5th BMW M-Hybrid V8 and M4 GT3 respectively.
EDIT: I was furious when Racingbrick reviewed the BMW set and when the M-Hybrid V8 was reviewed I was furious that the headlights are sticker not printed the Hoonitron his printed headlights why not M-Hybrid V8 Chris seems to break the promise of Printed headlights. (Yes I know the interview didn't happen and I drawn my conclusion but still he broke the promise. But M-Hybrid V8 is still 4th cause I like Le Mans cars.)
EDIT 2: The Dark Horse is in Forza Horizon 5 now and with a couple of APR wings now I get to mod that some day on my Dark Horse.
Fair enough! That is very well thought out! I agree it would have been cool to have some sort of Ken Block reference for the Audi. And yeah when you build the M4 and compare it to other speed champions it's quite a big car! So perhaps the stub nose was necessary
@@onecleverpigYeah instead of releasing the Audi Hoonitron just re release the old Audi S1 the one that inspired the Hoonitron so the licence will sort out and maybe in the second or third wave then they introduce it.

Nice review 🎮 I agree with your rankings, the sticker on the LMDH's windscreen is weird. I was surprised to see the screen of the Mustang and the prints of the Audi. I would definitely choose the Mustang, but it isn't the perfect parts pack.
Fair enough, and you bring up excellent points! It's nice that we have new colours for the low-profile wheel arches and the new wheels are great. I'm already seeing KMP MOCs put out a few alternates for the mustang!!
I got every one besides the F1 car. I had fun with all of them. I think I liked the Audi the best, though the Hybrid V8 was really fun and unique. I will probably get the F1 later, though F1 cars aren't really my cup of tea. I love what they did with the trunk of the Mustang, very unique (there are some gaps in that set that are kind kf unforgivable).
I'm with you on F1 - not really my thing either. I'm glad you enjoyed the Audi! I really like it too - it's such a unique vehicle.

I built the mustang and found the build to be not as solid as previous years. Pieces on the side of the doors kept falling off. Not impressed by the build, but the finished car looked good.
Yeah, I hear what you mean. The audi was the most solid build out of all of them. The boxes say 9+, but Lego seems to think these will all just be displayed. Good point!!
why do you like the Mustang? actually quite many likes it.
I rank the Audi #1, its by far the best SC model to date, the only one that is not box like.
I like the Audi a lot! I was most excited for it. But the Ford has the the best value, good parts, fewest stickers, and a really good building experience. The Audi is still great, though!!
The GT3 is probably my least favorite of the entire wave, but the double pack is really not up to par, honestly. The others though, are excellent. The Dark Horse being my favorite, and probably the best build in Speed Champions so far. The Audi has some excellent prints as well. Just a really good wave save for the double pack, and the colors in this wave are really great.
At this point it's really hard to say there's been a "bad" wave in the past few years.
That is very true - I agree that there hasn't really been a "bad" set in a long time. They always provide value at a relatively low price. New parts, great build etc. I wasn't blown away by the McLaren Formula 1 car, but it still has those awesome wheels. There is always something to feel good about in these sets!

I agree!! It's terrible! On the plus side - I remember you were looking forward to the Audi which has a printed window
kinda late but if it had printed windows yall would complain that it looks washed (countach for example)
@@saiko953Any print on window pieces is better than sticker every time. If the print was the same quality as any other previous Speech Champ, there would be no complaints from me!
