Hot Springs Bicycle Race 1985

In 1985, Michael Davis and Pro-Bikes organized a 90 mile bicycle race from Asheville North Carolina to Doggett Mountain to Spring Creek to Hot Springs to Walnut to Marshall, North Carolina and returning to the University of North Carolina in Asheville. There were many great mountain climbing bicycle racers to compete. Ned Gallaher, Mark Tolley, Mac Canon, Jeff Ray... many others... and I believe I saw tge great Art Shuster... I wonder where Steebo was... He was a great racer and climber as well...
This was a mere 16 years after Davis had been a Marine Corps Grunt in Vietnam and Laos.
