Hi Brenda - I could have sworn I had a graphic showing each dumpling & the zipper length but can't find it on this computer. Great question, Kelly! Dumplings open wide, which I love, but you don't want everything to fall out. The Insert Template lets you add a little flap or gusset, on each side of the dumpling, so it still opens wide, but nothing goes spilling out. I understand your comment; especially if you have never tried any of my No Slip Templates. But once you do & see that they truly 'grab' your fabric then you might think differently. I have people that tell me all the time how much they love my templates because of the consistent results they get & the ease of use. If you're only making one then it's hard to justify the cost. Once you make more, then it's easy to see~ I appreciate your feedback.

I'm wanting these, but probably won't be sewing for a while. I managed to fall and break my hip last Friday, and had a hip replacement Saturday.
