    Thanks Mike for the honest review. If it didn't have those fans and cost less, I think it might be a better case to build in? To me it looks like the slots are the same size as the non-open slots. If it had the octagon holes it would breathe better? The perfect case is the one that fits your needs. Thanks for sharing Mike and lady Kath. Take care all. Cheers

    About the part you mention about those fans being DC and you can't control the fan speed, well apparently with my gigabyte motherboard I can control fan speeds no matter if is PWM or DC.

    • @mikesunboxing
      @mikesunboxing  4 месяца назад

      you still can't control these as there is no way to connect them to the motherboard.

    Could you fit a 15cm graphics card into this? Because this case doesnt have vertical gpu mount and the power cable seems already have reached outside of the glass panel

    • @mikesunboxing
      @mikesunboxing  3 месяца назад +2

      yes it can take up to a 160mm cpu cooler so there should be a bit of wiggle room there, it might be worth looking at 90 degree power adpaters also

    When I assembled my sister's PC earlier, she had this case I suggested she get, since it supposedly have better airflow than my Aigo Darkflash C305 based on the bigger ventilation holes & so on (and actually being cheaper by about $10, on top of getting 3 free fans which my C305 doesn't have, probably offset with mine being a slightly larger ATX case + actually having rubber grommet cable inlets/outlets).
    Now, I thought all PCIE slots on casings & motherboard specifications are all uniform to each their form factors. Surprisingly, when I put things together in the VXN, the 1st PCIE slot on this doesn't line up to the GPU? I took out the top most slot's cover only to find it doesn't line up with it by an entire slot's height, and had to take out the 2nd slot for things to line up properly, leaving the 1st slot all removed & ugly. Granted, there are aftermarket covers, but still. It's only my 2nd time building PCs from scratch. Is this normal? Its a 5600X with an Asus TUF B550M-Plus & a 4060 btw.
    My other concern is that despite the rich GPU clearance in length, I do find there is very little room vertically? I put 3 intake fans on the bottom, and theres like only 25mm of space between the GPU & the bottom intake fans and thats with a relatively small 4060 no less. I imagine it'd not fit had it been any one of those thicker GPUs. On the plus side though, the GPU runs very cool being almost directly above the bottom intake fans lol.
    On the other, I wonder if that actually messes with case/CPU temp? She only had the stock cooler on it atm since unfortunately the aftermarket tower cooler she got came with the mount broken on arrival. CPU temp reaches up to 48C on idle & up to 79C (and sometimes up to 82C rarely) on full load. Is this normal with the Wraith Stealth?

    Interesting design on face of it, show case your Matx build! Agree they should offer case only so you can put better fans in there. I.O. is limited too. My critique of these case designs is they expect air to do various sharp 90degree turns which must lower airflow efficiency and increase noise. But then its a budget show case! Thanks for reviewing Mike and Kath 🐈👍

      @mikesunboxing  4 месяца назад +1

      yeah it is getting to the point where it is form over function, and that seems to drive sales. But harms efficiency and progress in design
