This is GREAT advice!! You need to know how the vehicle responds & how it feels so when you get in an emergency situation you know where to steer rather than freeze-up because you don't know what to do.

@@smartdrivetest, It has been going well. I am in College now (Class if 2020)! I have been driving back and forth from where I live, to College, which is also where I work. It is fun! I also like to road trip and listen to Metallica, along with other Metal Bands.

Hey Rick, quick question. So I have a 2018 Hyundai Elantra and the service mileage reader is down to about 500 before it needs to be service.
How long should/can I wait to get it serviced? Money is tight at the moment but I don’t want to risk anything going wrong. Can I wait about 400-450 miles?

Thanks for the video Rick and I'm wondering if these skills are also useful for CDL vehicles like a Straight Truck or Bus because some states like NJ offer direct access to a CDL with a $24 fee to cover the car license

So far with me, I passed the written test and earned my learner's permit earlier this year and gained some driving experience by my friends and relatives letting me use their vehicles. I have a month to refine my skills before taking the real test in January onward.

@@smartdrivetest Thank you, Rick. It's on January 5th and I got my pops to help me with more driving techniques so I can be prepared and focused. I'm doing whatever I can to ease all self-doubt so I don't be nervous and falter. The parking and three point turns are all I need to improve upon.
Does the examiner go over with my score after the test is up? Also, after getting my license, is it recommended I still practice to make sure I am a safe driver?

Am I gonna fail the test for being "over cautious" if I decide not to take right on red traffic light because I don't think it's safe but in examiner's mind, it was ok to take the turn ?
Hi Ashwani M - you will fail if you drive too slow on the test. But it's okay to wait for the green light if you're not comfortable turning right at a red traffic light.
