I had the chance to fly out to Bali with my whole family this Thanksgiving for our first ever trip abroad! I wanted to document my memories so that I can always remember how blessed I am to have this opportunity and also share it with those who have never been to Bali.
I am by no means anything close to a professional so please excuse the shaky hand and enjoy!

you should do more travel vlogging. this is much better than 90% of the travel vlogs I've seen on RUclips. too many people focus on what they're wearing or going out partying and who they are with its useless. the point of a travel vlog is what you captured perfectly, you showed the location, the culture, you captioned what we were seeing instead of talking about everything for 23 minutes. the video was not too long and there was just enough there for us to know the background of who you were with/why you were there. the video was all beuatifully captured with great background music, there wasn't much talking and filler. didn't mean for this comment to be so long but you did a great job 😊

Bali is a province in Indonesia whose provincial capital city is Denpasar. Bali is also one of the islands in the Nusa Tenggara Islands. At the beginning of Indonesian independence, the island was included in the Lesser Sunda Province which had thousands of cities in Singaraja, and is now divided into 3 provinces: Bali, West Nusa Tenggara and East Nusa Tenggara.
Besides comprising the island of Bali, the area of the Province of Bali also consists of smaller islands in the vicinity, namely Nusa Penida Island, Nusa Lembongan Island, Nusa Ceningan Island, Serangan Island, and Menjangan Island.
Geographically, Bali is located between Java and Lombok. The majority of Balinese are Hindus. In the world, Bali is famous as a tourism destination with a unique variety of arts and culture, especially for Japanese and Australian tourists. Bali is also known as the Island of the Gods and Thousand Temples Island.

@@mygallery2858 Are you making videos with phone or camera like gopro? If making videos with phone Kinemaster is great editing app for phone. Davinci Resolve is for laptop or computer. But bear in mind laptop or computer must be quite powerfull when editing high resolution videos. Laptop procesor number should not end with letter U. If it ends with letter U and you have low GB of Ram video will be lagging a lot on playback while editing. That is what I am going thru. If you have gaming laptop then it should work with no problem. Hope this helps :)

stupid tourist, who dont respect nature. they only went to Bali to gaze at White People, half naked on the beach. All this just an excuse.
Decent video, but please don't support the elephant abuse trade. Riding them is not right and they're tortured for days to "train" them. Nice vlog though
Yeah, I actually watched a video after I got back about how elephants are abused for this sort of tourism and I was so heartbroken to know that I supported something so horrible. I'm definitely going to try to be more aware about these things T_T Thanks for letting me know though! Nice to know that there are people like you who care about animal welfare.

Djarum Super well, they are only get paid to attack on Indonesia/Bali not Thailand or other counties, so, yeah. Go figure.
Those magnificent elephants are not endangered and caring for them is not free, so I wouldn't worry about those. The slaughter of Elephants in India and Africa is much different.

Animal abuse? There are certain parks where they kept some animals that was saved from dying forests and tourist can come and see them there. Also don't think i saw anyone hitting an animal?

I can't enjoy scrolling down the comments without seeing a hate comment against her riding an elephant. First of all, one comment is enough. I just feel sorry for her having to respond to thousands of other meaningless comments that are the exact same. And for your information people you guys aren't so perfect either so cut her some slack.
Yeah I agree she did address it already but it's still her fault, my friends and I are also traveling to Bali and Thailand in January and it is your job as a responsible human being to *research* these things. Culture, customs, religious taboos. We made a thorough search just to ensure that we have fun while being conscious and respectful. She dropped the ball on this but at least she apologized and recognised what she did what wrong so people should relax a bit.

Nobody is talking about perfection but elephant riding is one of the most cruel things happening in Asia (not the riding alone, but how the animals are treated in general) Im sorry she has to read all of these comments but she probably has done something without thinking it through and i personally am happy that so many people react to it because for me it means that animal cruelty is recognised and people try to do something against it.

Mehdi CH hi.. I am living in Bali. FYI, only Indonesian especially who has Bali's ID can buy a house or land in Bali. Bali's government makes that rule.
not a chance - you need a Visa to stay long time and they hate bules living in Indonesia so one way or the other will get rid of you after they have got all your money first..

What is the difference in between riding an elephant and a horse?
@@sujiunwang2429 horses have been bred and domesticated to be able to carry people. Elephants have not been domesticated, and often times the way they make the elephants do these things is by torturing them to "break their spirit".
