    The acceleration from 4000 rpm to 7000 was unbelievable. A fantastic result for all your work and the patience of running-in the engine.

      @@luchetto486 i was an engine engineer, overhauling combustion engines, small and large
      Running in means as first item smoothing by running in the cylinder walls and pistonrings !
      Avoid long term high power output and high revs. Handle the new or " reborn " engine with care.
      Plateau honing is a great step forward to decrease tge running in time! De cylinder walls after reboring and honing are a lot smoother. That's a very big plus

      ​@@adwest68 I always waited around 3000 km before reaching high revs.
      Racing engines take less time than road engines to break in. This is a race engine.
      It's all about the engine clearance/play and project.
      If you are an engineer you will understand what I wrote.
