Can’t believe you are so close to launch! Congratulations on all the hard work y’all have accomplished! You and Janet sure have a wonderful life down under! Hope y’all have many years of sailing on your awesome cat. Well done.
Rossco, i have watched many sailing you tubes over the past 5 years. i always knew that a metal hull will hold up much better than a glass . On one current channel, a coup[le are building a somewhat traditional wooden Swedish mono haul on another channel and moving much quicker than your project and the Wooden vessel project is an aluminum project. Much of your time is spent on epoxies and drying times. Three channels and 3 building techniques!
Love it Jim, I have done that trip now 8 times and it blows me away every time I go there. My previous business ran trips on the Ninngaloo Coast and I was so lucky to be able to experience it.
Sorry Ross, I think you need to go on more holidays. You got to swim with wales, that’s amazing and beautiful. I want to see more. We need you to do more of that when you’re on the seas. Something to motivate you both. Good progress, loving the laminate.
Love the channell. To stop the flickers with your lights in the workshop that show up on the videos. Change your recording to 4k 50 if you can. Russell, an Aussie living in Moscow, Russia.
Thanks Russell, I find that 50hz and 25frame f Rate is better and if the camrlera is still it stops but the different led lights also have different frequencies.great to hear from you, must be starting to get cold, in Moscow.
Glad Janet’s better sir. The table set up looks good. Also great progress. You going to backfill the cavities in the rudders? Stay well Ross and Janet…. And family!
Down your way on holiday and it was nice to see the physical boat, from outside. It’s going to be fun getting her out of there but I’m sure you’ve already worked that out.Nearly there.Well done to both of you
@@LifeOnTheHulls No relation that I know of,but the family is huge so you never know and they’re scattered all over the world.Hope you had a great holiday.
We take 4 weeks holiday a year and work 7 days a week on the boat otherwise, we we have been self employed our whole careers and work after dinner at night to make sure we are able to build our boat and the youtube is a further 30hours a week to make these videos, so lucky to be able to maintain the momentum. We are now almost retired as we have hit that age, and are certainly not wealthy or I would have juat bought a cat or tried to crowded fund like most channels are doing, good luck with that.Ross
Nigel, the sea kayaks are stable and capsizes are extremely rare.I am able to eskimo roll a double back up wirh a willing partner, singles can be rolled with technique also but I never capsize inadvertently.Wet exit us easy and can be righted by another person beside it and rescue effected simply Ross.

Good motivation and we love to travel, thus build has certainly squashed our travels for too long, hence the push to launch,
Sweet looking table system, as they say here : finishing work is the last 5 percent and takes 25 of the time.... Hang in there 👍
Totally agree

Good episode Ross
The table mechanism is great, but I always say my boat drinks about a dozen, feeds about six but only sleeps two.
If you stagger your unions you can keep the tubing runs tighter together and it gives a cleaner look .
Thanks Ray, good tip.
Welcome back ,WA is a beautiful place our daughter lives there and it looked like you both had a wonderful time .regards
Thanks Terry, is such an incredible place I have been running trips in ningaloo for over 14 years and still want to go back.Love it.

Yes mate, fully foam core, stiff rudders, coming up soon,
Ever closer ! Superb !

That’s a low blow from Janet. 😝
Brutal mate, you feel the chill.Haha
Getting there mate. It’s always the way when you come back to freezing home from a sunny holiday. Ya get the sniffles🤙🏼🤙🏼🇦🇺
Every bloody time mate, Janet seems totally susceptible to the old plane flu.
3 moths to splash, can’t wait to see that. Are you on target for the lunch date? The cat is progressing nicely.
Launch date, has me worried, buts 7 days a week till then, millions of jobs to come yet.
Good wife happy life !!
The Truth
Must be nice to be on vacation almost all year like you do, that's what we call rich in Kansas. Australia is differently the land of the rich.

@@LifeOnTheHullsGo get him😂
Was that a shark I saw when you were first getting in the water?
Was a dolphin Bob, we have seen a few sharks in that trip including a 4.5mtr great hammerhead.Stunning creatures.Ross
Hey mate, what’s the name / brand of that table leg? It’s exactly what we need!
Nuova mappa readily available in grey or black.
Hi Rosco are the paddle boats safe like do they roll over and you have to able to right them again also is one size fits all

Hey mate ive been watching since day 1. What is Sam's company's name as we are looking for social media advertising for our business
Hey mate, Vonnimedia in Sydney, Veronica is the marketing exec and Sam the CFO, Chat to them they really have a great model.Rossco
what is it 15 videos on just trim
It’s all good. Life on the Hulls with 25 videos on trim!! As long as Ross posts good videos, I’m a happy camper.
It appears 80percent of boat building is finishing it.
Rigging the mast will take a few videos also.
@@icelandviking1961 I’ll take it!
