He ordered all overtime to get our mail caught up to stop. Instead he’s giving bigger bonuses to management. My facility has millions of letters and flats built up and they are cutting to positions that are made to deal with it.

Management compentence....does NOT exist!! I have worked for the USPS for 28 years. This is by far the worst of times ever. DeJoy has killed us. Local Management has never been more horrible as it is currently. People do not come to work because of Management. Our current acting plant manager has told multiple employees they are worthless. The problem isn't just ATL. My plant deals with them daily. It's so bad that as of last week there was 94 gaylords of non-machinable parcels still not processed. I know at least 1 of them had been sitting here since April 1. I DO NOT AGREE IN PRIVATIZATION OF THE USPS!! It is a SERVICE. What I DO agree with is a total overhaul in Management from the bottom up.

I have over 100 small packages held up at Palmetto since 4 april amd nothing getting scanned. I am not happy about it and they need to fix this asap. This delay is worst ive seen and we are not even in the holiday season.
My monthly income check has been messed up with mail sense first part of February and my electric is ready to be cut off for some reason it scanned in on informed delivery 4 days ago and I still haven't received it. And thwy tell me they don't know where it's at.but it was scanned in 4 days ago and they say it wasn't scanned in in my home town where post office is at 😮

It was expected to arrive on the 13th and today is the 17th and it’s out for delivery…not only that but the tracking said it was in saint Louis MIssouri…why did it leave the state just to return back to Illinois

What about the proper training of management. We need people with knowledge of how the mail is tan. They need to the logistics and and operations. Time is essential, experience and education. Proper training of the machines and the functions. They need to know how to sort manually if the machines are not operational. Consolidation doesnt help with the problem it’s delaying the mail.
My husband worked for the Postal Service as a City Carrier, Supervisor, Training Specialist, and an EEO Specialist. He always would say that the incompetence in the Postal Service is at an all-time high. They don't honor promoting persons of educational (bachelor's degrees or higher) to entry level positions, instead there is unchecked nepotism and favoritism. The Union prevents honorable blue-collar employees to get fired. And if white-collar workers voice their opinion regarding future improvements, the hard-liner white-collars manager with "past" thinking we look at it as if the new blood in not failing in line. My husband would say, you should judge a job based on your kids. By asking yourself a question, would you want your kids to work there? My kids are college students and there is NO WAY I would want my kids to work there. ONLY as a last resort, and that after McDonald's, as my husband would state!

So now the supervisors and managements are in the plant crossing craft running the mail a lot with the veteran clerks and the mail isn’t getting out on time. It was backwards how they did this and him consolidating locations didn’t make sense had us working 6 days a week.
Need to be questioning him about Houston area. Especially all that mail sitting in the Missouri city processing warehouse. Mail been there since December 2023. Meanwhile certain station managers are having us to cut back or delay mail we received so they can look good to their boss as if they are saving the post office money. This way they get bonuses and we as carriers get a pay cut. Toxic environment.

He’s been purposely delaying the mail. We’re told not to deliver mail and it’s been processed twice within a 24hrs timeframe. Here in Florida, he cut the overtime, and forced a shift change. The shift started at 12PM to 2PM. The few pieces of mail we run has to start being put out by 3:30 PM.
