I am glad that Senator Ossoff is grilling this Bureau Director of Prisons and hope that this will improve prison conditions even if it requires dismissing some high and low level employees. Hopefully Senator Ossoff will now grill the VA about the major documented shortcomings with the Atlanta VA Hospital so our vets can obtain thew proper care that they deserve. WIll continue to follow up about both of these facilities in Atlanta.

I work non custody in a correctional facility, I will say there is a huge shortage in officers. I compare corrections shortage to shortage of nursing staff in healthcare billion dollar business for a reason, profit over all.

No excuse not to do a fucking job. Especially when you have people on suicide watch! This "director" had failed at all aspects to do his job yet still has a job?

@@matthewcurry3565 your are correct, we should still have the death penalty. I am in favor of bringing back public executions... once a month set up the gallows out side the state capital building And let the folks gather to see what happens to criminals. Including public servants that break the laws

I went to work for the GA Department of Corrections in 1994. In 2001 I got the opportunity to go work for the Federal Bureau of Prisons in Atlanta. Doubled my annual income and had a guaranteed retirement income that would allow me to retire at 47 with a upper middle class income. Within 90 days I let all that go and went back to the GDOC. The Federal Prison system is the worst thing I have ever seen. It's the bottom of humanity for both inmates and staff. In some cases the inmates were less of a criminal than the staff. And once you work for the Federal prison for 6 months it's next to impossible to fire a employee. I'm talking a officer brings meth into the prison for a inmate. Then gets 3 days off with pay as punishment.

Prayerfully more Christians do learn their rightful authority over the devil, and his seed, and also more patriots sincerely turn to Christ.
    Luke 10:19
“Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.”
    Romans 10:9
“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.”

🐑TIME TO TAKE A STAND, WHICH SIDE WILL YOU CHOOSE?
There Is only one God, God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. Three parts ONE God.
People have three parts, the body, the soul and the spirit, three parts, ONE person.
The Bible says that we are all sinners.
As it is written: There is none righteous , no not one. Romans 3:10
For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.Romans 3:23
But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousness are as filthy rags. Isaiah 64:6
For the wages of sin is death. Romans 6:23 (The word death in this verse means eternal separation from God in hell).
Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow. Isaiah 1:18
Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures and that He was buried and that He rose again the third day according to the scriptures. 1Corinthians 15:3-8
In whom we have redemption through His blood, even the forgiveness of sins. Colossians 1:14
For by grace ye are saved, through faith; and not of yourselves.
It is the gift of God, not of works, lest any man should boast. Ephesians 2:8-9
I do not frustrate the grace of God, for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain. Galatians 2:21
Your trust in Jesus and His shed blood on the cross to pay for your sins, is what saves you from hell.
The moment you trust in Jesus and only Jesus, you are saved.
Then, you should be baptized in the name of the Father and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.
