Thank you. The part I needed to figure out was exactly how to reattach the video cable to the screen. Stand it up and drop it down. That made the difference with the lack of wiggle room Apple gives. Good video.
I was going to order the top screen (protective glass), not the lcd for a late macbook pro 13-inch. Is it actually made of glass or plastic? you mentioned glass in your video.
Ok my son dropped my laptop and the LCD screen is not broken but the glass is cracked. Can I just buy the glass piece and replace that? Do you have any suggestions as to where to buy it from? It looks like it should be pretty easy to replace from just watching your video!

There are no problems about it. The protector screen has a plastic film behind and it ( probably ) has saved your LCD. If it is not broken you have just to take off the broken glass and change it. It the LCD is broken you may change both, it's not so expansive if you do it by yourself! Thanks to watching !

what does your hairdryer run? a super charger?? its not as easy as you make it out to be, that was pre heated and pre removed.

yes you can replace it, buy it on ebay
Your hand is in the way on removing the cable from the screen.
