Yeah, that’s a good description for golden retrievers “like giant stuffed animals” they have to be in my opinion the best dogs ever. We had a golden that raised a German shepherd. Boy was the GSD confused 😅 He thought for years, he was a golden retriever. He was about 4 years old before his natural instincts kicked in. He finally realized he was a guard dog, not a giant stuffed animal.
As a hospice nurse i deal with the times in a person's life that are not so good, and often dark. These videos bring sunshine, warmth and love as they remind me that truly, Love conquers all, and that God is good.
My golden is through 6 bozo cats..don’t tell them…but I list my 14 yo Maine Coon ladtvwerk..she had been very abused for 6 years but had a great time for the rest. Sigh. Peace all. Vote day

We had a Golden that got to help two kitties. The first one fell in love with him right away. They would even sleep together and cuddled with each other. The second kitty was a little more hesitant. Though they never became sleeping buddies, they would nuzzle each other a few times a day and be comfortable with the other any where in the house.
I would classify myself as a cat person. Have owned many cats and a couple of dogs…But everything I’ve seen on golden retrievers melts my heart. They are so beautiful. If I ever decide to get a dog to add to my family I can’t see myself choosing any other breed
Such beautiful kittens, and beautiful goggies! You didn't introduce the younger pup though, unless I missed it. I like how Mon starts bunny-kicking the puppy and chewing on his ear! Toby's such a doll, and so patient and kind with the baby kittehs. Yeah, I'm crying, lol! All four are so gorgeous!
It will not cease to amaze me when I see a dog _many_ times larger than a kitten approach the little furball so very gently. I'm sure the dog would be disappointed in me: it's a baby, of course you have to be gentle! Toby coming up and softly nudging the kittens with his muzzle was probably a good way to show them that he didn't mean them any harm. A lot of times, you'll see recommendations to introduce new pets to the others in stages, often over a number of days, before allowing them to meet in the same room. I don't know if that would have been helpful here, but Toby did such a good job of introducing himself that it apparently wasn't necessary.

Kittens versus Golden retrievers! That's like Godzilla versus King Kong in the cuteness universe. They both have incredible powers of persuasion and charm. I don't think there's a clear winner.

This truly is a house full of love - nothing else transcends the world of division, prejudice, or unpleasantness than love, & given the current global crises we are currently witnessing in the Middle East & on the Ukranian front, should we all not look to our animal friends as an example of how to treat each other.... I had 3 Rottweilers...2 females & 1 male. One day the male brought something to me in his mouth and laid it at my feet. It was a tiny kitten whose eyes were just opening. He then took my wrist in his mouth and pulled me down to the rest of the litter. I now have 3 cats who were raised by the 3 Rottweilers they slept on every night. Go figure!

I Wish I could show this video to our mutts They only know how to attack. They Have to be always kept locked, outside the house. These dogs are surprisingly gentle with cats, probably with other animals too.
