Nice work ! I am planning on making a similar reverse trike with piranha 140cc engine, pit bike wheels(drum brakes) and Enduro type rear wheel. The plan has been on my mind and the parts in my garage since last year. But I was skeptical about the top speed. So I bought a Lifan 200cc engine. What top speed are you getting?Would you be moving to a double A-Arm suspension ?
Gearing wise the top speed should be ~60mph, but with the large frontal area, it might not get there. I have not had it past 25mph yet because of the lack of front brakes. The Pirahna engine has a lot of power, but is difficult to tune correctly. From what I have read, the Lifan engines are a little more docile, so good choice! For now, I am sticking with the beam axle & leaf spring. Are you going to use independent front suspension?
Fatigue? Perhaps. It definitely has short service intervals, as many parts which are bushed or have bearings in a car are just steel-on-steel with some grease here. As for it being weak, though, I am inclined to disagree. It's definitely proved to be strong enough for driving about
@@syedfarazahmedrizvi2852 This trike certainly has some motorcycle parts (wheels, brakes, and engine), but driving it is much more like a car - three pedals, steering wheel, and gear lever
Hello! The front wheels are nominally 15 inches in diameter, and the rear wheel is 14 inches. The total diameter of the hubs + tires is closer to 2 feet.
A piece of copper pipe might make a nice bushing for your steering
Thanks for watching! Copper pipe would indeed work, but oil-impregnated bronze is a better material for a bushing
Do yourself and us a giant favor. Set up a tripod.
Thank you, content is great!
Haha yep - shaky camera work. I'll be mounting the camera for any future videos. Thanks for watching!

@@c50ge Thanks!
What is the bearing sizes in the wheel? And what is the shaft size which is going inside the wheel bearing?
Internal diameter is 5/8 inch (15.875 mm), and outside diameter is (if I’m remembering correctly) 1 3/8 inch (35 mm)
What is up guys, what a trike, reverse trike,I am never try them ,not once! May b some day, wait N see
Thanks for watching! I would encourage you to try building one
What are you using for front wheels and tires?
They're for a Yamaha GT80 dirt bike. Front brakes as well. Thanks for watching!
Can you share where did you buy the spindles? Thx

Yes, planning to fabricate dual A-Arms. My welding skills aren't great so might end up using ATV arms for front suspension.
I see

Very nice bro, i should try this project inshallah
Thanks! You should give it a go.
@Spear Tip wont say u r wrong .. i don't care what religion he believes in .. but i would say any one can keep it for himself inside
Keep ur religion for yourself .. don't let people show u how much u r hated for that .. just keep it inside
Thats what the two plastic bushings were for to eliminate the play
Good point! We address that issue in update #4 - bronze bushings.
G Heald traktorlondin
good info but need to incorporate a tilting system into the mix for turning then you have it
Exactly what I thought.
What name of plastic that tight the hole?
Do you mean the plastic bushing which was provided with the spindles?
link where you bought the seller spindles

The 2 spindles are re Reversed
yep
Correct - I did that purposely to lower the front end of the trike. It was sitting a bit high with the old spindles.
Boa noite meu face sem que você fala por😂
Good content but poor movement of the camera.
Thank you for the feedback! I'm trying to improve the camerawork:)
