- For this February half term (and a bit of a Valentine's Day treat to each other!), we decided to take another trip up to Manchester, where we were lucky enough to be invited on a little behind the scenes tour of Coronation Street. Not only did we get the chance to explore the newly opened Weatherfield Precinct, but we also got the chance to have a look around Carla and Peter's new flat, Roy's Rolls and Underworld!

Great video again. I can't help thinking that the innate strength of the show was that it was simply based on one street - almost like a village. Extending the sets may be more modern and realistic but dilutes the charm (for me).
what an interesting video. thanks for sharing. Can't believe I haven't come across your videos before. Must watch more.
Glad you enjoyed it, thank you! ☺️ Much more audio than video on here, but there are definitely more behind the scenes vids and video interviews too.
Thanks so much, guys. I so enjoyed that. I’ve watched Corrie since about 1980 and still can’t completely visualise the layout in my head. I’d love to visit the set one day.
Another brilliant video ! Well done ! Xx
Hi guys how did you manage to get in the studios???
How did you get inside of the studios?
23:43, not sure they use the microwave very often.
if underworld is in the studio what's inside the underworld building on the outdoor set?
It was pretty empty when we went in last year. There were bits of Dr Gaddas’ office in there, and some seats and TV screens set up where crew can watch what’s being filmed outside.
Thanks for the great tour. Unfortunately the fake food - especially the baked beans are the one thing that I think lets Coronation Street down because the food is never steaming when it's served no matter how realistic it looks. A small detail, but nothing like that ever happens in Neighbours. Attention to detail really matters in my humble opinion.
